  "We'll be back before you know it, don't forget us," I yelled as we jumped through the trees and out of the garden.
"Don't leave me!!! I'll be lonely..." She took a quick breather and dried her eyes, "Natsu, please keep your promise and be safe!!" I heard Lucy yell as we went further and further into the forest. Goodbye Luce.

Lucy's POV ~Time skip 5 years (Lucy's 18th Birthday)~

It was another day inside the castle walls of the Heartfilia Castle... Hell... I haven't seen Natsu for 5 years now, and he promised me he would be back... He lied... Just like mum...
"Princess, are you ready for your ball dress," asked Virgo as she walked in with a large red ball gown and severally white ones.
"Nope," I sighed as I removed myself from my bed.
"I'm sorry Princess, but you must do this for the sake of the kingdom..."
"Please don't start Virgo I've had enough from my dad,"
"Sorry miss. But you must have your 18th birthday ball tonight, and then your wedding tomorrow. You'll be wearing this red one for the ball and you must choose from the following white dresses for tomorrow,"
"I'm not doing it,"
"But princess,"
"Please leave,"
"As you wish, but you can't put this off much loner. Time is running out Princess," she then closed the doors behind her and I threw myself on the bed. I don't want to do this, I don't want to marry this stranger. I don't want to live this crappy life anymore, people dying, hurting, disappearing. Why can't we all be happy. Natsu where are you.

~Time skip a few hours to ball~

I had finally put the dress on after the maids force me to wear it. As I walked down the long fleet of stairs I noticed all the people suddenly turn to look at me. I've never seen so many people in the same place all at once.

As I reached the final few steps I was introduced to the one and only Gray Ghostbuster... I mean Fullbuster. He wasn't bad looking but I just wanted to be with Natsu... the boy who doesn't keep his promises. "You look beautiful this evening Lucy,"
"Don't call me that, it's Miss Heartfilia to you and thank you," the Raven haired boy looked at me shocked. I don't want him calling me Lucy, I'm probably being really harsh but he deserves it.
"I'm sorry miss, do you wish to dance?" he questioned as he held his hand out.
"I guess," I muttered as I took his hand. The music began to play and people around us started dancing. Gray held my hand and had his other hand on my waist. We danced in silence to the song that I had loved listening to with mum, memories played through my head. Until my trance was rudely interrupted by Gray, "So, I bet your excited about the wedding tomorrow, and after all this pretending to be nice crap you'll be mine and you'll do what ever I say. Got it." he said with a darkening aura which sent shivers down my spine.
"I don't want to marry you, and I'll never be you'res," I said with a straight face with no emotion present.

"You will be mine, you have no way out of this because..." he tightened his grip around my waist and he move his other hand onto my arm and whispered in my ear, "If you don't marry me, I'll make your life a living hell and if you can't be mine then you can't belong to anybody," he said as his forever darkening aura seeped under my skin. He then suddenly pressed his lips against my forehead....That was the final straw.

Sharply, I smacked Gray around the face. Everyone in the ball room looked shocked as they saw the innocent princess slap the mighty all powerful prince. "I don't want to be with you!" I yelled as I ran out of the castle doors, with my head in my hands. I ran into the castle gardens that I hadn't been to in almost 5 years. My legs became weaker as I tried to run deeper into the garden to where my beloved Sakura once thrived. When I suddenly ran into someone sending me flying backwards, but before I could. They had caught me before I landed upon the cool ground.
I dried my eyes so I focus upon the person who had saved me from falling to the ground. That's when I realised who it was...
