Calum:
My day carried on as usual except for the fact that I knew I was forgetting something. Ashton and Michael had been acting weird in class and I was hoping that this wasn't going to carry on. I'm sure a lot of it had to do with whatever happened at that stupid party. Luke and Aria have been pretty much inseparable and for some reason; it bothered me. It bothered me more than I was willing to so easily admit. It was finally lunch and I sat at my usual place with Ashton and Michael.
"Hey," I said.
"Hey," Michael responded.
Ashton didn't say anything and kept his eyes glued to his phone.
"Hi...Ashton," I said.
"What?" Ashton snapped.
"What's your problem?" I asked.
"None of your business."
"Ashton is pissed because Dakota isn't talking to him," Michael chimed.
Ashton nearly hit Michael before I grabbed his wrist and put it back down on the table.
"Leave the poor kid alone. Just because you're having a bad day doesn't mean you have to be an asshole," I said.
"That's funny coming from you," Ashton snapped.
"Will you two stop?" Michael asked.
"Maybe this would stop if you guys would stop acting so weird every time I mention this stupid party," I asked.
"You raped Aria," Michael blurted. Ashton actually hit Michael in the arm this time. "Hey! If you weren't going to say it, who was? It definitely wasn't going to be you. You fucking pussy."
"What do you mean I raped Aria?"
I looked at Aria then back at them. Before I could speak again, Michael and Ashton were gone. They were running out the door. I picked up my things and ran after them.
"Ashton! What is he talking about?" I continued.
I ran through the hallways and they continued running. My head pounded, my vision grew blurry, and before I knew it I was on the ground. I was still conscious but tired. I started to see clear again and I was greeted by a familiar face. It was Aria. I got up and scooted away from her.
"There's no need to be scared, Cal," Luke said.
Aria handed me my bag.
"I was just trying to make sure you weren't dead, asshole. Calm down," Aria said.
"I'm fine," I responded.
I got up and walked away.
"Hey, Cal. My girlfriend just spent her entire lunch trying to wake your sorry ass up. The least you could do is thank her."
"Did you just say girl- That's not the point. Thanks, Aria." I said.
I only said that because I was truly scared of Luke. If it was just the two of us, I probably would have pushed her. Even if I did, she probably would have whined to Luke about it and he would have my head.
