Chapter 30: Class is gonna be interesting now

*Jade's P.O.V.*

My alarm went off to start the next day. I woke up and did my normal morning routine. I then went into the kitchen to eat. I hadn't talked to Andy or Juliet at all before I went to bed and there was still some tension in the room. I quietly ate my breakfast as Andy tried making conversation.

"So, how'd you sleep last night?" He said.

I ignored him and finished eating. I put my dish away and continued my routine. I was then ready to leave. Andy had his keys in hand and was standing by the door.

"You ready to go?" He asked.

I just walked past him and went to the car. I heard him sigh as I walked past him.

"Bye Juliet, I'll be back. Dropping Jade off at school quick." Andy yelled inside.

"Bye." Juliet said.

Andy and I got in the car and headed for school. I still refused to talk to him or look at him because I was still mad and he knew it.

"You're gonna have to talk to me eventually." Andy said, breaking the silence.

I looked over at him. We were at a stop light and he looked at me.

"I'm mad." I said.

"Well, I figured that much out." He said.

The light turned green and he sped off.

"Why are you mad?" He asked.

"Because you're leaving." I said.

"I know, I would've told you sooner but I didn't want to stress you out anymore than you already were. We can't cancel these tours and I know you're gonna have a lot of fun with CC and Ashley." Andy said.

I just kept silent.

"But..." I said.

I just didn't want him to leave so soon. I just got here and I'm still adjusting and now he's leaving. I guess I was just sad and it showed as anger.

"What?" Andy asked.

"Nothing." I said, giving up.

We finally arrived at school.

"Goodbye sweetheart, love you, have a good day." Andy said.

"Bye, love you too." I said.

We hugged and I got out of the car and went to my locker. Sky was standing there.

"Hey." I said.

"Hey." He said.

I opened my locker and put my stuff in.

"So what's up?" He asked.

"Uh, nothing. I just got here." I said.

He was acting kinda weird and I wasn't sure why.

"Oh, yeah. Is this what time you normally get here?" He asked.

"Yeah, my dad brings me everyday so it's pretty consistent." I said. "Well, the two days I've been here."

"Yeah." Sky said, laughing.

I shut my locker and looked at Sky.

"Do you wanna head to class? We have that quiz today." Sky said.

"What? We have a quiz?!" I asked, shocked. "She didn't tell us this."

"Yeah, she emailed it last night. She's a douche and does stuff like that. She might not make you take it though because you probably haven't learned all of this stuff yet." Sky said.

"Oh, thank god." I said.

We headed for class.

"Yeah, do you even have a school email yet?" Sky asked.

"I don't think so." I said.

"You should go to the tech office and get one because Mrs. Peters uses it a lot." Sky said.

"That sucks." I said.

"Yeah, she's a bitch." Sky said.

We arrived at class and studied briefly before the bell rang.

"Okay, class. We have a quiz right now, please put your folders away." Mrs. Peters said.

The class was outraged.

"You never told us this!" Some kid said.

"I emailed you all yesterday about it." She snapped back.

"Um, I don't have an email yet." I said.

"Yes you do, and I emailed you as well." She said, snapping at me now.

"Okay, I wasn't aware of this soo." I said, getting a little irritated.

"Well, that's a shame." She said.

"This bitch." I said under my breath.

A few kids heard me and laughed quietly.

"Hey, just let it go." Sky whispered to me.

I sighed angrily as Mrs. Bitch handed out the quizzes. I got mine and looked at it.

"Woah, I know all of this stuff."

I quickly went through the whole thing and finished in about ten minutes. I looked up and Mrs. Bitch saw me.

"You can't be done yet. Go back and check your work." She said.

"I did already." I said.

"That's not possible. You probably failed it." She said.

"What the fuck!? You don't say that to your students!!"

"No, I'm pretty sure I aced it." I said, getting snippy.

Everyone looked up from their work. There was tension in the room and shit was about to go down. The teacher got up and came over to my desk. She snatched my paper off of my desk and brought it back to hers. She graded it quickly and when she finished her jaw dropped. She looked up at me, defeat in her eyes. She slowly got up and placed the test on my desk and walked back to her desk. I looked at the grade on the top.

"What did you get?" Kids asked.

No one was paying attention to their work, instead focusing on the little scene that was going down.

"It doesn't matter what she got." Mrs. Peters snapped, not wanting to admit she was wrong.

"100." I said.

The class went silent and they all looked at the teacher. She was ignoring them because she knew she fucked up and I just showed her up. The rest of the class finished and the bell rang. Mrs. Peters gave me a dirty look and I smiled evilly at her.

"Well, that class is gonna be interesting now." Sky said.

"Yup, it'll probably be a living hell." I said. "Why was she so nice yesterday and now she's a complete bitch?"

"Just trying to seem like she's not that mean all the time." Sky said.

The day flew by and it was time to go home.

"See you tomorrow." Sky said.

"Okay, bye." I said.
