"Say, do you truly love me? Like, really really really really love me?"

"Of course, no need to doubt that."
That person smiles at me, then open their mouth again.

"Do I mean the world to you?" I shook my head, disagreeing.

"No, you are my world."

While smiling, that person said the most horrifying things one could ever said. At least, that's how it was for me.

"Then,-"

No, not this, never this. I'm not ready yet.

"Seriously, you really are such an evil person! How dare you eat my beloved pudding? Even though I intentionally safe it for last." Said that person while pouting. It's unbecoming on that person's face, but it's cute nonetheless. I was trying hard not to laugh, but failed miserably.

"Don't laugh, you jerk!" Said that person with red face, obviously pissed. I laughed harder and mess that person's hair, which in turn made that person's pout deepened.

"You meanie! You glutton jerk!"

"Yeah, yeah, then you better run or I'll eat you up too! Grrr..." I teased that person, while grinning ear to ear. That person jokingly shrieked, then I leap at that person and push that person to the ground. We laughed with no care to the world while the sun sets and the day come to an end.

"Hey, let's have our first date!" Said that person suddenly when we were in my house, just lounging around in the living room.

"Date? Sure, where to?" I asked curiously since it's not on that person's nature to do things suddenly out of the blue.

"Hmm, I dunno, how about the theme park?" I raised one of my eyebrows, confuse with that person's unusual antics.

"Seriously? Isn't that so normal? I thought you dislike it?"

"Well, yeah, but it's not like we have anything better to do. Besides, it's alright to be normal once in a while." Said that person.

"Well, I guess it's alright."

"Hey, I love you, wanna go out?" Asked that person when we were having our brunch together in a cafe. I raised my head to look at that person, then nodded.

"Okay, not like there's anything major changes between us since we used to stick to each other every time we have the time." That person laugh drily.

"It would be better if you take my confession seriously, you know? Since it's my serious confession. I do love you, you know?" I smiled, and hit that person's head lightly with my fist.

"I always serious when I'm with you, you know? Isn't it obvious or should I spell it for you? I.Love.You.Too." That person then grinning from ear to ear, obviously happy with my answer.

Pause.
Take a deep breath, don't let the tears fall.

It was a scorching summer, I could remember the cicadas' cries, the sunlight burn on my skin and the longing for a bottle of cold sweet juice to quench my thirst. I was planning to go home and just laze around. But the bullying that I saw on the park changed my plan.

"Don't get close to this demon, said my parents. A person with such weird coloured hair and red eyes is not normal, they say. I should cursed you for being alive!" Said one of the bully while kicking that person. That person retaliate, refused to be treated that way.

"So what? Just because god treats me special and gave me this hair and eyes, you're jealous of me? That's why you've been nothing but a jerk?" I smiled, secretly praised that person for that person's bravery.

Saying that, however, worsened the situation. The bullies kicked, punched and hits that person mercilessly.

"What did you say, you lowlife?"

"Haha, poor you! You have no one to lean on."

"Even your parents don't want to be with you, such a poor thing! Well, you live on tax that our parents paid, right? So technically, we own you! That's why, it's allowed for us to do anything to you!" I couldn't listen anymore, they are being such a... such an arrogant spoiled brat. They really getting on my nerves. I didn't know whether it was because I'm so pissed or because the heat got on my brain, but I did what I never thought I capable of doing.

"Hey you, stop there!"

While smiling, that person said the most horrifying things one could ever said. At least, that's how it was for me.

"Then, please leave. Go away, leave, I don't need you here." Said that person flatly. I froze, hoping, wishing that they would laugh and said 'just kidding!'. But, a wish is just a wish. I laughed drily.

"Haha haha... what an awful joke. I thought you said that you want me to be serious. Turns out, you're the one that jokes around." That person just look at me coldly. Clearly not amused with my antics.

"I'm serious. Leave, I don't want to see you ever again. At least, not here."

Not here. Not here. Dios mio, they found out.

"W-what do you mean by that? I don't understand."

"You stuttered, obviously understand what I am talking about. So, stop faking it and leave. You're annoying. Leave!" I hugged that person, so tightly as if it'll be the last time. Tears forming on my eyes, my chest clenched, my head spins. I can't breathe, it's so hard to breathe.

"No, no, don't, please don't. I.. I don't want to lose you. Not again." That person smiled at me, then raise my head with both of their hands.

"Worry not, my dear one. Life's short, so we'll meet again in no time. Move on, and live my share of life too. I'm sure, if it's you, it won't be wasted."
That person then connected our forehead and smiles warmly. I cried, I cried hard as I feel uncontrollable force pulling me away and separated me from that person.

Pause.

Say, my dear one, would you be there when my times come? I miss you, ever since that time, I really miss you. But, I continued living, I move on, find my happiness, just like you asked. Now that I finish that, I'm allowed to do as I like, no? And I like to... I want to meet you, to see you again.
