Whispered Happy Endings

Chapter 5

What wasn't amazing was the wake up call at 5 in the morning. Bailey and Johnny was jumping on the couch. Damon freaked out. Since Damon had his arms around me, he accidentally threw me on the floor.

"Oww." Damon lazily looked down at the floor.

"Oh, I'm sorry, Victoria. You can come back up here." I nodded and tried to climb up. But Johnny and Bailey took my spot. Damon seemed to just noticed their presences.

"Did you guys scare me to take her spot?" They looked down, guilty. "Guys, why?"

"Because we wanted to sleep with you guys."

"Just sleep with Damon. I'll steal his bed." I went over to his room.

I went on the top bunk. The blankets didn't smell like Damon, so I chose the bottom bunk instead. I got to sleep easier. I stayed asleep till Damon later woke me up.

Damon must have come to the room at 7:30ish. He took me in his arms. I looked at him confused.

"I couldn't stand you here alone. Besides the little ones are watching cartoons. I wanted to sleep more with you."

"Okay." We snuggled together and fell asleep.

The next time I woke up, I woke up by myself. It was just because I was done sleeping. I tried to easily get out of Damon's arms. I honestly didn't know where we stand. I took a shower. Then I got dressed in a t-shirt and jeans. I slipped into the kitchen. Natalie was in there.

"Good morning."

"Good morning, dear. Is Damon still in there sleeping?"

"Yep. Is it okay if I start making breakfast? The little ones are starting to get hungry."

"Sure."

I got out bacon and biscuits. I then did some eggs. I added toast to the pile. I soon was done cooking. It was 11. Damon then decided to walk out of his room. He smiled at me when he noticed I had made breakfast.

"Kiddos, looks like Victoria made breakfast." He called into the living room. Everyone came to the table. And we had a nice breakfast together.

"Since Allison is watching the store today, I'm taking the kids to the park. That way you guys can talk the rest of last night out." Natalie said.

"Natalie you don't have to do that." Damon said.

"It's okay. I want to. I barely see Johnny anymore. And it will get these two outside."

They left soon after breakfast. Damon and I ended up on the couch bed.

"So ask me anything about the royal life."

"Damon I don't know."

"Well, what do you want to find out about, Mon chéri?"

"I'm jealous that you speak french. I have to take Spanish."

"So let me guess, french tout le temps?" He said, with a chuckle.

"Serious now. Like what's it like in the castle? Lonely, awkward, what?"

"It's very lonely. And it's only awkward when the paparazzi are there taking pictures. But once in our living quarters, it's like home. So it's not much different with you and the book store."

"Do you have your own living quarters?"

"Yep. All the other siblings have joined with their head nanny. Well Johnny and Paige. The rest live together by choice."

"How old is Paige?"

"7. My mom had a rule she solely raised us till we were at least 5. Then she slowly let the nannies take over. She didn't want some one else raise us. She only lets the nannies do certain hours. She wants a primary role in her children."
