*Madelyn's POV*
THUMP THUMP THUMP! My head hit against the floor of the minivan. I slowly lifted up my head and noticed we were driving into a vast wooded area. Was this the end of me? I did not want to lose my life. I was only 13, still had a lot to look forward to. The van came to a dead stop, and the door slid open as I was yanked out by my ankle.
The idiots did not duct-tape my mouth, so I screamed my loudest,
"HELP ME PLEASE!"
To my surprise, I heard a faint reply,
"WE'RE COMING, KEEP MAKING NOISES!"
Was that a police officer? I kept yelling, kicking. What kidnapper does not carry duct-tape?
*Carly's POV*
Pacing back and forth across the living room, the news was blaring and there flashed across the screen an alert for Madelyn. The phone rang, and dad nearly fell trying to get to it.
"Hello...oh thank god!" he said, and I was left wondering for ten minutes.
After he hung up, he did a hand-flapping dance.
"They know where she is! They heard her screaming in the woods about ten miles from here," dad said, and mom jumped up and hugged him. Hopefully she would come home safe.
(A/N: This book may be finished soon, probably at chapter 35 or so. I know, you guys love this. But with LIC, SATUSA, and the new fanfiction in 10 days, it will be hard to work on. Hope you guys understand!)
