DECEMBER 15TH

Well today's the day. I finally graduate from LSU! I'm so happy to be doing this right now and I couldn't be more proud of myself for achieving my goal of graduating college after the life that I have been through.

Most of my stuff has been moved back to Boston and I'm going to be going to Florida to live with Xander down there after the holiday's.  I got up around 8 and went to the gym and worked out for one last time in the LSU gym and it was pretty bittersweet that I wasn't going to be traveling with the team and doing gymnastics.

After my workout, I went back to the apartment and got into the shower and then packed the rest of my things up and started to get ready. I did my hair and makeup first and then got changed. (Outfit in media)

I went out to the living room and Lexi and Sarah were sitting on the couch. "I can't believe you're graduating early." Lexi said giving me a hug. "I know it's so surreal, but I'm excited for the journey ahead of me. I can't wait to start my job in march." I said and we took pictures of course and I put the one of me and Lexi on Instagram.

"KristenBogaerts: It's still so surreal that I'm graduating today and moving back to Boston. Thank you to LSU for a great 4 years and thanks to this girl for sticking by my side through it all. Love you so much and I'll miss you<3"

Someone knocked on the door and Sarah went to open it and in walked my mom, dad, Xander, and Andrew. They all gave me hugs and we took more pictures and then it was time to say goodbye to Lexi and Sarah and it was quick but bittersweet.

We went out to the car and went over to the auditorium where graduation was being held, you think that there wouldn't be many kids graduating in December, but you'd be surprised.

I went to where I was supposed to go and then it was time. They called my name and I walked up onto the stage and I looked to where all the noise was coming from and I saw that the whole team had come to support me and I got the biggest smile on my face and laughed a little.

"You have quite the entourage there Kristen." The dean said to me. "Yes I do, that's actually the whole Red Sox team believe it or not." I said with a laugh. "Well tell them not to leave cause we'll want a picture of them and you." He said and I nodded and went back down to my seat and waited for the ceremony to be over.

Once it was over, we all threw our caps into the air and we finally had done it! We graduated! We walked out and went to a room waiting for everyone to leave so we could meet our families. I grabbed my stuff and walked outside to find my very large group.

I spotted them right away and went over to them and I was engulfed in a big group hug by the team and then I gave my mom and dad individual hugs and then we took pictures and the LSU photographer took one and put it on the LSU Instagram.

"LSUTIGERS: Congrats to Kristen Bogaerts of the Gymnastics Team who graduated today and had quite the entourage with her today , The Boston Red Sox! Hope you have a good future with the team and hope you are successful in your future endeavors."

The picture was of of the boys holding me sideways so like I was laying down and the rest of the boys standing around. The boys holding me were; Andrew, Xander, Mookie, Brock, Jackie and Travis.

We talked for a little before getting into the cars and heading off to the airport. I was heading back to Boston with Xander and my parents. I gave Andrew a kiss and a big hug because he was going back to Ohio to be with his parents for the holidays.

"I'll see you for New Years okay?" I said before I boarded the plane and he nodded giving me one more kiss before letting me go off. I boarded that plane and finally we were taking off for home and I couldn't be more happy.

I couldn't wait to start my life, and my life begins today.
