Chp. 13
Brandons Pov
I took Callie's hand and walked down the stairs and into the kitchen.
I see moms sitting at the table. "Moms there is someone I would like you to meet." I say with confidence.
"Brandon what do you mean?" Mom (Stef) says gesturing to Callie and I.
"This is my girlfriend." I say holding Callie and I's hands up so they can see. "Please don't be mad." Callie says looking as if she's about to cry. I give her hand a reassuring squeeze and she just gives me a weak smile.
Mom (Lena) sighs, "Callie is this the reason you left?" Callie nods. "Brandon how many times have we told you, Foster siblings are not allowed to hookup!"
I look over to Callie and see a tear has fallen from her face. I can't take it, I can't stand seeing Callie like this, So thats when I get pissed. "I don't care about the damn rules! I love her!" I scream.
Thats when everything goes silent, and it stays silent. "I love him too." Callie says after minutes of awkward silence.
Moms then exchange glances when Mom (Stef) says "All right lets just sit down and talk this through!"
Callie and I do as told and sit down at the table together. "Callie so this is why you left?" Mom (Lena) asks.
"Yeah. The truth is, I left because I kissed Brandon at the wedding and I couldn't be in love with my foster brother none the less adopted brother!" Callie says with disappointment in her voice.
"Woah woah woah! You two kissed at the wedding?" Mom (Stef) questions. "Yes we did, As I said thats why I had left." Callie answers.
"I'm not gonna let you kick her out." I say defensivily "Brandon Foster, Do you really love her?" Mom (Lena) asks. I nod my head and I see Callie blush. "Callie do you love Brandon?" Mom (Lena) questions. "Yes, with all my heart." Callie says. I then put my hand on her thigh and she puts her hand over mine.
"Love is love and you should be able to love whoever you want. But we still need to talk about it. We can tell you love each other." Mom (Stef) says
Before I can say anything she continues "Go upstairs, We will discuss this and call you when we are done." We both nod and head back upstairs. I lead Callie into my room. She immediatly goes to sit on my bed.
"Brandon I'm scared." she says and I can see the fear in her eyes. "Hey, Its gonna be okay. Everything will be okay. I won't let them kick you or Jude out." I say as I wrap my arms around her. After that we just lye there. Waiting for moms to make there decision.
