My eyes fluttered open. The house was quiet as a mouse. I put my hair in a bun and I crept down the stairs, to start some breakfast.

I heard Chloe groan. She was sitting on the chair against the kitchen counter. With her head on the table.

"We'll good morning princess."

I said sarcastically.

"Shut up." Chloe was not a morning person.

"I love you." I said setting a bowl and the cereal box next to her.

I made myself some eggs, bacon and a bagel. yum.

"Enjoy your day of school, sweetheart." My mom said kissing Chloe's head.

"Uh hello." Well feeling left out much.

"You have a good day at school hun." she kisses my cheek.

She walks out the door leaving just me and Chloe.

"Well lets get a move your bus is going to be here in 20 minutes." I say.

Chloe rolls her eyes at me. "Why can't you just drive me?" "Because I have somewhere to be. Now c'mon move."

She gets up and stomps away to her room. I follow her down the hall and go to my room.

I check the weather. It looks like its going to be a sweater and scarf week. Raining all week.

By the time 20 minutes passes Chloe off to the bus stop. "Bye Zoey!" She yells as she walks out the door. I grab my purse and head out the door myself. I told the school I had a doctors appointment so I could get an early shift at work.

I work at Starbucks. No jokes my mom knows the owner of the building and I got in good.

I'm jamming to the radio on my way to work. The clock says 7:50, ten minutes until I'm late. The red light turns green and I hit the gas. Rain starts pouring down hard. I turn on the windshield wipers to make an easier way to see. My phones falls out of my pocket. I bend down to get it. Quickly looking away from the road. When suddenly I look back up and slam on the brakes. A motorcycle spins in my pathway, but brakes before hitting me.

I stop my car and run out to it. "Are you okay I'm sorry." I say panicking. "Ah fuck." He grabs his back. "Oh god. Are you hurt. Do I need to call the police?" I say. "Nah, shit. No I'm uh fine." He says standing up. "Are you sure. You don't sound fine." "I said I was fine." He barks. "Sorry." I pick up his helmet. It says Harry on it. "Here, uh Harry is it?" I ask. "Yeah thanks." He squints his eyes like he's trying to get a good look at

me. "The better question is what's your name?" "It's Zoey. You don't look so good. Let me at least get you some ice to put on your back." "Okay. Hop on." He turn towards his bike. "No I'll just drive. I work down the street." "Alright." He gets back on his bike and me back in the my car.

We pull up to the parking to Starbucks.

"This is were you work?" "Uh, yeah why?" I say. "You don't exactly seem like a Starbucks girl." "Is that a good thing?" I ask. "It's not a bad thing." "Okay?"

We walk inside Harry behind me. "Zoey your late." "I know I kinda of had an accident on the way." I turn to Harry. He waves. "Here sit." I pull a chair out for him and go behind the counter to get some ice. "Here sorry again." I hand him the bag of ice. He places it on his back. "Well I have to get to work so I'll see you around." "Wait that's it?" He says. "What do you mean?" He goes to say something but his phone rings. I read "GF #3" on the screen. He ends it quickly and looks back at me. "I think your hot. So I'll pick you up tomorrow at 9." He says with a devilish grin on face. "Excuse me but it seems like you got your hands full already. Bye." He grabs my hand turns me around and reaches in my pocket to get my phone. "What the hell?" I say. He enters something then his phone rings. Meaning he just texted himself. I snatch my phone away from him and walk away. I watch as Harry gets up and leaves, when my phone rings. "Tomorrow at 9. Don't disappoint me. I don't handle disappointment easily."
