"Oh, my god! The rumors are true! Little Theo's back in town" a familiar voice approaches Theo as he walks out of the town diner with food in his hand.

Turning Theo sees someone he doesn't like coming towards him, "hi Mira" he greets her anyway.

"Long time no see traitor- I mean Theo" she smiles knowing she said it on purpose, "does Zac know you're back?"

"For your information he does"

"And he didn't burn the town down? Maybe those were all just threats." Mira Kepler is one of Zac's good friends who was completely against the two getting married. She was the first to throw the I told you so in Zac's face after Theo ran away, "you know you shouldn't have come back right?"

"Mira please shut up, no one asked for your opinion" Theo gets in his car driving away.

There's no solid plan, Theo just wants his husband back. But judging from their interaction last night, and the dirty stares he's been getting all morning from people in the town, getting Zac back is not going to be easy.

Driving to the only friend he knows he has left, Theo tries to not let anything get to him, his only focus is Zac.

Knocking on his friend's door he waits, "coming" Theo hears her voice. The door swings open followed by a loud gasp, "THEO!" She jumps "OH MY GOD!" They hug each other tightly

"Hey Tab"

She pulls him in "what the heck are you doing back here?! When'd you get back?"

"Last night"

"Does Zac know?"

"He's the first person I went to see when I got here. Tabitha, you promised you'd keep an eye on him for me, why didn't you call me when he got in his accident?"

They walk to the kitchen where his friend Tabitha was making breakfast, "Theo I swear that's the first thing I wanted to do, but when I went to see him he made me promise not to call. He made everyone promise and I had to keep it, because he was pissed at me for letting you leave in the first place." Theo sits at the counter as Tabitha cooks, "how'd it go?"

"Bad, really really bad. He couldn't even look at me, didn't let me sleep in the bed with him and I had to leave before he woke up. If I go back he'll probably not let me in again"

"You can stay here with me"

"Thanks Tab but I have to get Zac back"

"Why can't you do that from here?"

"I don't know, I just feel like if I'm there with him then we'll see each other more and that'll help us get back together."

"He's not the same, Theo. After you left he went on a rampage then locked himself in that apartment for weeks. It took a lot of work but Annie and I finally got him out of there, all he did after you left was work and avoid everyone. Imagine what it felt like to be told I told you so from a bunch of people that knew you guys were making a mistake."

"It wasn't a mistake" Theo sighs

"Then why'd you leave? You left him there, alone" every time he thinks about what he's done to Zac, Theo starts to cry. "No no no hey I'm sorry I was just asking" Tabitha runs to him hugging him, "I didn't mean to make you feel bad."

"No it's not you" Theo wipes his tears. "I know how much I hurt Zac trust me, and I know I probably look like a complete idiot coming back but I don't care. I made a mistake, leaving him was a mistake that I don't know how to explain."
