It was the month they have been waiting for. Anytime during this month, Maine could deliver the baby. Everything is already prepared. Their things were already packed and ready to go. Alden sets his mind to be always be alert an be midful of what Maine is feeling.

"RJ!!!!" Maine called from their bedroom. He panicky ran up to where she is, concerned that something might be wrong.

"What? What happened?"

"Nothing! Nothing will ever happen because I'm going to die of boredom before even delivering this baby!" She cried. She was advised to just stay on bed practically until she is ready to deliver the baby.

Alden sighed.

"Then what do you want me to do? Do you want me to bring you more books and movies?"

"God, no!" she protest. "I'm gonna bawl my eyes out in here"

He walked towards his wife; laying beside her, planting a soft kiss on the top of her head.

"Then what do you want?"

"Could we go shopping?"

RJ's eyes furrowed. "Shopping? At this kind of time? Maine?!"

"What? Its good for pregnant women to walk around so why can't I?!"

"But maine--" he was 100% against this idea.

"Fine" she muttered, breaking away from their position and keeping her arms crossed. And moody Maine strikes again.

Frowning and stressing over a petty matter is definitely not for a pregnant woman, especially a pregnant woman on her 9th month.

"Okay fine, I'll get the car. Mag-ayos ka na" Alden, raising both his hands in surrender.

"Yehey!..." she shrieked, from angry Maine to giddy Maine real quick. "You're the best, love! You know that love, no?" She continued giving RJ soft kisses to his cheeks which made him smile; the tagos-hanggang-bone-marrow kind of smile.

"Anything to make my wife happy," he answered. "But promise me that if you feel anything strange, you'll tell me right away okay?"

"Yes, I promise" she smiled back. She jumpily get out of the bed and went to the bathroom to start prepping up. Alden just watched how cute his wife is, he shakes his head with the bright smile still plastered on his face.

--

RJ opened the car for his wife before making his way to the driver's seat. They buckle themselves up and were now ready to go.

"So, where are we going?" he asked. They were in a car, engine on, but without a destination.

"Let's go to MOA, love" he looked at her with a look of disapproval once again.

"That's too crowded, love. Sa iba na lang"

"Jusko RJ, sabi ko let's go shopping. May malls pa bang hindi crowded?! Sana sinabi mo para nag-online shopping na lang ako no?!" Alden sighed. Defeated, once again.

"You know you're roller coaster kind of emotions is kind of giving me a headache" he said and started driving south.

--

They reached the place in about an hour. Maine quickly got off the car and literally started jumping around like she was not carrying a baby.

"Hey, be careful. He might get hurt"

"I'm sorry I just missed the outside world." She said facing him across the car. "And don't call her him; she might be a girl you know?"

Alden started walking towards her, reaching for her hands and entered the mall.
