It was 8 in the morning when my mom came inside my room and woke me up.

"Sweetie! Wake up, dad and I wanted to talk to you about something important. Meet you down stairs at the kitchen after you finished taking a bath for good."

Slowly I got up, took a shower, changed my pj's, brushed my chocolate brown wavy hair, applied some lotion, fixed my bed and rushed down stairs to know what my parents are up to this time.

"Ohhh, there you are my princess!" Dad said, while taking a luscious sip of his coffee. I smiled, went near him, and gave him a morning kiss! I know he is still tired from work, but my kisses would probably make him feel better.

I took a seat beside him and took some of my favorite strawberry waffles. "So, what do you guys wanted to talk to me about?" While taking a big bit over my waffles.

"Honey, your dad and I are going to New York City next week to visited your Granny, and we were thinking that you'll be coming with us. Oh, and sweet heart will be staying there for two months."

Just when I was about to say no, my mom giving me no such choice interrupted me and said, "no buts this time honey." Given no chance I said yes.

Thinking.. "What about school mom? I think two months is just so long for a visit. Why not make it just 2 weeks?" And she replied, "Oh honey, it has been years since we last went there and that was just a week visit, didn't you missed your granny?"

"Hmmmm, well yea I've missed her buut.."

"That is why, we wanted you to go with us, so you could make good memories with your grandma. Besides, not worry about school, I've already talked to Ms. Holli and to your school principle."

After some talks and eating, I got up, placed my plate to the sink and went to my room and just when i entered the room, my see my phone ringing.

"Good morning beautiful! When are leaving?"

"Wait..! What.?! How did you know we're leaving?"

"Didn't you see your mom's tweet on twitter? She tweeted this.. "We going to New York again, but this time we're bringing with us our princess." Why didn't you tell me ahead of time? You know i'am surely gonna miss you right?"

"Well I was suppose to but now I see you already know. Don't worry, it's just two short weeks."
