One day Joe was just sitting on his bed not really doing anything just thinking. Then when he decided he needed to get some sleep he laid down to go to sleep. Then out of nowhere a shadow passed by, a huge shadow at that. Joe was a "cool kid" and was scared for a second but then thought "I'm cool cool people don't get scared of shadows" so he just tried to go to sleep. But, the shadow passed again and joe was getting suspicious but right then he was so tired he passed out before the thought was even really processed.
The next day Joe went to school did the normal things but, he was a little jumpy today, with good reason though. His friends played a prank and jumped out and scared him. This wasn't unusual because they did this once or twice a week. But this time he got extra scared and fell down when they jumped out and scared him. Everybody laughed and made fun of him for a minute but then went on with there day and to their classes.
That night he saw the shadow again tumble over him through the window. This figure seemed huge by how big it's shadow was. Joe was so scared that the figure would jump in and get him if he tried to look out the window to investigate. He had to do something before he went insane with fear.
He didn't really have a so called " best friend" but he could talk easiest to Carl. So he went to him and told him the situation at lunch recess. Today was Friday so they decided to have a sleepover at Joe's house to see what he was actually dealing with. They got there, played some board games and played video games then they went to Joe's room.
They went in very warily because who knows maybe the shadowy figure would catch them right this instant. Tip toeing and quietly breathing they were finally all the way in the room. You could feel the tension in the air. Joe was struggling to find air he was so scared. BONK! Something hit the window the shadow was in the room Carl was so scared he spoiled himself. They went to the window so scared they were almost crying they opened they window and...
CROAK! They felt like dummies after they found it. It was just this all along? A stupid frog made Carl spoil himself? Joe and Carl swore to never tell anyone that they had cried because they were scared of a frog. Well except for Joe's mom who walked in right then... The end.
