The tears ran freely down my face; my thoughts were interrupted by my mum and dad shouting my name... Again! They drive me absolutely crazy, I hate it here, I wish I could just move into my own place away from them. "Becky!" they shouted from downstairs.

"I don't want to see you!" I replied, "you're ruining my life!" I brought my knees up to my face and continued to sob. I grabbed my phone from my white bedside table, it shaking in my trembling hands, and searched for my boyfriend's number in my contacts. I pressed the call button and Matthew's face appeared. "They're trying to take me away." I stuttered.

"What?! Who? What's going on Becky? Who's taking you away?" He sounded panicked.

"My parents, they say you're a bad influence."

The memory came rushing back to me as my doctor jabbed the needle in my arm. 'That stings like a bitch' I thought. Blood tests are the worse. With a quick farewell to my doctor with a gut feeling I'd be fine, my doctor said the treatment seems to be working. As I made my way to the exit I overheard a familiar name being called... I turned to make sure it wasn't just my imagination getting the best of me, I mean I'm not the luckiest girl in the world so it couldn't be. That's when I saw him. "Matthew?" I was so shocked to see him here. He turned around to face me and froze in his place. The glistening smile I've been fore longing to see, since the five years we've been apart, formed on his face. His longish, messy hair was parted to the left, framing his face. His dark, dark hazel eyes widened I couldn't tell if it was the surprise of seeing me or the excitement as well. At this moment I realised just how much I missed every aspect of him. All my urges took over and I began running over to him, wrapped my arms around him and pulling him into a tight embrace.

"Becky I can't believe you're here, it's been so long, I've missed you." He spoke softly into my shoulder.

"I've missed you so much Matthew."

"I never stopped loving you, I want you to know that." He spoke as we pulled away from the embrace, I couldn't hold back the smile that appeared on my face as he spoke these words.

"I love you." I spoke not regretting a single syllable of what I just said. His smile grew and the next thing I knew I was spinning around in the air.

"Will you be mine again?" He pleaded when I was back on the ground.

"Of course I will, you idiot." I laughed, which as soon cut off as Matthews lips crashed against mine in a passionate kiss.

Hours have passed since we left the hospital, and Matthew and I were in his apartment. We were sat on his burgundy sofa, which was pointing towards his vintage charcoal fire. His apartment wasn't massively big nor was it extremely small, but somewhere between the two. The living room walls were painted a plain taupe colour, with two large windows on the far wall with long, elegant, maroon curtains hanging either side of them. The sofa was in the middle of the room with a sturdy, wooden coffee table inches in front of it. His apartment as a whole wasn't very modern at all, the television was just left in the corner of the living room, forever neglected. One of the walls was lined with a dingy, old, dusty bookshelf filled with thick, worn out books, it was very obvious he read them frequently. "By the looks of your apartment. it looks like you changed, you used to hate reading." I gestured to the bookshelf. He chuckled and nodded.

"Changed when your parents took you away, I wanted to prove to them that I'm not a bad influence." He replied. I smiled big and nudged closer to him, resting my head on his chest, to which he replied by wrapping his long, muscular arms around me, pulling me closer to him. "I love you, I always have, ever since I laid my eyes on you." I looked up at him, complete adoration on my face, and gave him a passionate kiss, which then escalated.
