One and Only

Part 25: Baby

So after the two Suggestions I got I decided I would name the baby after my awesome Friend and Partner in Crime Jadeywolf. She is a great person and inspiration so this chapter is for Jade.

7 months Later

Selinas P.O.V
"Breathe hun breathe" Bruce whispers in my ear as we rush to the hospital, we get into the cab and Bruce yells " Gotham General step on it". We speed away into the night my hear is pounding and the pain is unbearable, we make it to the hospital and the nurse pulls us into a secluded room right away, I start screaming as the pain gets worse, "your doing great baby" Bruce says. The doctors come over and say "Hello Selina right" "yah im Selina" i say "okay its time for you to start pushing" I nod and look at Bruce, he smiles and grabs my hand I squeeze as hard as I can, "okay Selina push" the doctor says, I start to push and it hurts so bad so I start screaming and squeezing Bruce's hand,"keep pushing Selina" the doctor says "I am pushing asshole" I yell he smiles and says "just keep pushing dear" after 4 hours I am exhausted and the little bastard still hasn't come out, "okay Selina lets go again" the doctor says I nod and start to push "can I get you anything dear, a chocolate bar?" Bruce questions "no I don't want to fucking eat!" I yell he raises his hands in defence and walks back to me and holds my hand I smile as he whispers "you got this Cat" I start to push as hard as I can and all of a sudden I hear the doctor say "she's here" I wipe my face and say "really?" he smiles as he lifts up the most beautiful baby girl I smile when I see her, she is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen, the doctor cleans her off and hands her to me, a tear rolls down my face as I hold my baby in my arms, Bruce comes over and sits on the hospital bed beside me, I smile at him and say "we did it babe" he laughs and says "we sure did".

Ivys P.O.V

"Harl Selina is going to be here soon hurry up" I yell to Harl who is in the bedroom "comin Red" she says I laugh and sit down on the couch "Harley" I say "yah yah I'm comin" I laugh as she walk into the living room and jumps onto the couch. After a few minutes we hear a knock at the door, I look at Harl and jump to get the door, I open the door and gasp as I see Selina and Bruce with a little baby in there hands. After greeting Cat and Bruce we all sit down and I say "Selina she is gorgeous" Selina smiles and says "I know" while staring down at her baby "let me hold her" Bruce says "sure" Selina responds and passes her baby gently over to Bruce who holds the baby carefully in his arms. "So kitty whats her name?" Harl asks Selina smiles and says "her name is Jade" Selina says "can I hold her Kitty?" Harl asks shyly "sure Harl Selina responds, I watch as Bruce hands Jade over to Harl, Harl takes the baby and I watch as she grabs Harls fingers, I want one I think to myself, we can do it I know we can.

2 weeks later

Harley P.O.V

So far this week has been awesome, Red and I are planing ta move in together and Kitty is doing great with her baby, but what no one know is that I bought a ring today for Red, yup that's right I'm gonna propose tonight, I'm super nervous but I think its gonna be good. I walk inta Reds apartment and see her sitting on that couch  "hiya baby" I say  she smiles and gives me a kiss "hi gorgeous how are you?" she asks I smile and say "I'm great" I pull tha little box with the ring out of my pocket and hold it behind my back, " Red I need ta ask ya something" I say in a shakey voice "sure anything" she says with her back turned to me I get down on one knee and say "turn around" she turns around still sitting on the couch and gasps when she sees me on one knee "Harl what are you doing?" she says standing up and walking ova ta me, "somethin I should have done a long time ago" I respond grabbing her hand, I pull tha ring from behind my back and say "Red I have been through a lot of shit in my life, people have used me and taken advantage of me but you, you have neva done anythin ta hurt me and ya neva judged me for anythin, I love ya so much you are my soulmate and my one true love. So Pamela Lillian Isley, will you marry me" I look up at Red who is crying and nodding I stand up and say "is that a yes" she laughs and wraps me in a hug "of course it is you idiot" she says smilin I grab her and give her a kiss and then place the ring on her finger, we then spend tha night discussing our wedding its gonna be perfect.
