The next few days were about the same. There were of course a few differences, like Undyne actually coming up to you and apologizing. One thing is for sure, you were stuck in bed, and you hated it. You had Sans with you at least, which made you feel a little better, but you still hated having to stay in one spot until you healed.

You and Sans sat there in silence for a while. Sans was obviously tired, but was trying to stay awake for you. You on the other hand were thinking.

"Sans?" You asked quietly. Sans shook himself awake.

"Yeah babe?" Sans asked sleepily.

"Do you think we could go bring your father back? We might as well, I'm sure my feelings could guide us. And if you want, so I'm not doing to much, you could put together the remote thing with me just guiding you." You suggested.

"I guess we could. Let me go get you a wheelchair first." Sans stated. He got up and walked out of the room. He came back within a few minutes with a wheelchair. He pushed it beside your bed.

"Sorry it took me so long. I had to get Al's permission to go into the true lab. That is where you made the remote, right?" Sans asked, carefully picking you up and putting you in the chair. You nodded, gaining a smile from Sans. He went behind the wheelchair and started pushing you to the elevator. You got to the elevator and started the long ride down. You thought this was the perfect time to ask Sans a question you have been dying to know.

"So Sans, you said you used to work with Alphys as a scientist, right?" You asked. You heard Sans chuckle.

"Yeah, it was one of the most fun times I ever had...well, other than meeting you." Sans explained.

"Ok, so did you wear a coat like Alphys does?" You asked.

"Um, yeah. Heh, I even wore glasses. To be honest, even though I am a skeleton and only have pinpricks for eyes, I don't have the best eyesight. I just stopped wearing them cuz I had issues keeping them on. Tape doesn't always work." Sans explained. He seemed amused by your questions.

"Sooooo...can I see you wearing your glasses and scientist jacket?" You asked joyfully. Silence filled the elevator. Your smile started to fade until you heard Sans chuckle again.

"Sure babe. Hopefully Al has kept some tape down here." Sans replied. Finally, the elevator stopped and Sans pushed you to the room you told him about. He stopped you in the middle of the room.

"I'll be right back." Sans said winking at you. He walked out of the room. You figured that he was probably looking for a coat. You sat in silence for a moment until you grew bored. You turned the wheels oh your chair a bit to figure out how it works. Once you thought you got the hang of it, you started pushing yourself around to grab the components needed.

Once you got about half of the things, Sans walked in holding a pair of glasses and a roll of tape. He had on a coat that fit him perfectly along with a tie. He put his blue jacket on the table and walked over to you. You noticed a light blue blush on his face.

"Um...I hate admitting this, but I need help...It's been a while since the last time I put these on." Sans asked nervously. You giggled and nodded. He gave you his glasses and the tape. You put them to his face and had him hold it there. You took of a strip of tape and used it to keep one of the ear pieces on his skull. You did the same to the other side. After the glasses fell of a few times, you finally got the tape in a good place so the glasses didn't fall of. Sans stood up and backed up a bit to let you see him.

"That really does fit you really well! How come you stopped being a scientist?" You asked him. Sans shrugged a bit.

"I wanted to have more time with Papyrus. Besides, I was only a scientist because Dad wanted me to. It was fun, but to be honest, I wanted to be like Mom." Sans explained. You tilted your head.

"You never talked about your mother before." You stated. Sans's eye sockets widened a bit. But then he sighed.

"It's a bit of a touchy subject. I've never even told Papyrus about her. I'll tell you, but then we should get the remote done." Sans suggested. You agreed and listened to his words.

"She was my idol. Her puns were a genius's work! Heh, I'm pretty much just like her. Well, she disappeared a few months after Paps was born. She left her jacket, scarf, and a note. In the note, she said that the jacket went to me while the scarf went to Paps. She also said not to go looking for her. After that, I tried so hard to keep Dad happy. He spent most of his time in his lab, barely paying attention to me and Papyrus. Once he was gone, I just broke down. Paps didn't understand, cuz he was just a baby, but I knew he could sense my pain. He made the cutest face at me. I promised myself that I would try as hard as I could to keep him safe." Sans explained. Blue tears started to fall from his eye sockets.

"Sans, you know you didn't have to tell me, right?" You asked. Sans wiped his tears and nodded.

"I know. Well, we are wasting time. Tell me what I need to do." Sans stated. You nodded and told him what part goes where. Within an hour, you two finished the remote.

"Alright! Off to the Core!" You stated with enthusiasm. You saw Sans's smile fade.

"Let's hope that the elevators are working." Sans said. You raised an eyebrow. Sans sighed.

"So you know how you three came a lot earlier than last timeline? Well, last time, you came out of the Ruins a day after they fixed the elevators." Sans explained. You thought for a moment.

"What about the River Person? I overheard Alphys talking about them yesterday. She said that they can take anyone anywhere." You suggested. Sans stood there thinking about it for a moment but shrugged.

"Sounds good to me. I just wish Al would let me use my magic to take us there." Sans sighed, grabbing his blue jacket and putting it on your lap.

"Well you know what she said. I need to heal normally. Any type of magical thing done to me could disrupt the healing process." You explained as Sans got to the back of your Wheelchair and started pushing you out of the room.

"I know, I know. It's just a pain in the butt though." Sans stated, pushing you into the elevator.

"Sans, you have no butt!" You laughed. Sans laughed with you as the elevator started going up. You and Sans calmed down, leaving the rest of the right to the top completely quiet.

(Hey guys, sorry it took so long for this to come out. I had a bit of writers block...yet I didn't. I knew what I wanted to put, but I didn't know how to type it down without making things go WAY too fast. So here you go. Our 1k mark is coming up really fast, so please inform me what you want me to do...cuz I have no clue. Well, see you next chapter!)
