Chapter 16

I quit...

I packed my stuff, five months along in my pregnancy, tears falling as I thought about Tony. He was my baby! Why'd management make me give him up? The fans loved Tony, and they were pissed when they found out he was taken from me.

I'd been alone for five months, not answering anyone's texts or calls. I sat down after placing my suitcase on the floor. I looked down at my baby bump and smiled softly. I had recently found out I was having twins, a boy and a girl.

"Mommy won't give you up," I whisper to my unborn children, trying to find comfort in being alone again. I felt the tears fall, wishing Niall was here.

That's when I heard the Skype ringtone. I hesitantly pick my phone up when I see Liam's face on the screen, but I answer the call.

"Yes," I ask, my voice barely above a whisper.

"Rivy, come home," I heard a distraught Irish voice cry.

I felt as if my heart had stopped. When the video focused I saw Niall with puffy and red eyes, along with a red nose. I felt more tears fall.

"Rivy, don't cry, he just got done crying," I heard Zayn's irritated voice say.

"Please Rivy, come home," Niall sniffled, tears falling from his eyes.

I didn't know what to say, so I just nodded, "C-come get me.".

Niall frowns softly at the fear in my voice, "Rivy, what's wrong?".

I broke down right there, "I miss you so damn much. I haven't slept in two weeks.".

"Hang on, Princess," Niall whispers softly.

I was openly crying on Niall's and mine's Skype call.

"River, follow my breathing Hun," Liam coaches, "inhale, exhale.".

I smiled weakly, copying Liam's breathing. I began to calm down, still listening to Liam even though I saw the room across from mine in the background.

I hear the door open and I see Niall run over to me. He hugs me and peppers my face with kisses.

"Oh god I've missed you," he cries.

I kiss him gently, making him place a hand on my stomach.
