Chapter 30
B-Part, START!

All players were in position. It was time now to play a ridiculous game of sewing?

Uryuu wondered how he got himself into such a huge mess where he had to sew a scarf to save his and another guy's life, and none other than the life of the guy whom he hated to the core. And not only was it that, he was up against some insane and insanely powerful child. This kid was a wild card to say the least. Both boys weren't entirely certain of what he would do next, even Neji, who was literally born to read people.

Well alright then.

He pushed up his glasses and the kid called for them to begin.
Uryuu's challenge was to make a scarf strong enough to support both him and Neji, before the crystal guards let go of Neji.
He would've laughed, but unfortunately he was going down with the son of a bitch.

"Okay, on the count of three."

"One-" Uryuu started.

"TWO, GO!" The kid giggled with glee as he began to knit like crazy, ignoring the fact that he obviously didn't. know how.

"Wait-!" Neji yelled.

"Five minutes! You losers are in the DUST!"

Uryuu was already started, and he knew exactly how to do it. He expertly twirled away at the pile of fabric (conveniently scavenged from the temple by some of the crystal guards), so that his hands became a blur. His eyes got a special kind of glint, gleaming from his glasses.

Neji, simmering in the arms of a crystal guard, curled up like a wet kitten, saw it as the perfect time to "get to know" the kid.

"So Noritaka, I'm bored. Talk to me?" he started.

"I said, call me Nori." he said untangling his hand from a stitch. Even though he didn't know how, he was getting along.

"Uh, Nori, I know you love games..."

"Yeah?" He was interested.

"So lets play one now,"

"Ha! Silly! I'm playing with Uu-chan now!"

"I know, I know," Neji said, having a lot of difficulty, not laughing at Uryuu's new nickname and his face. "But we can play two at the same time!"

"Really?!"

"Yeah! Ev-eryone knows that,"

"What game, what game?!" he asked, jumping up and down, finally taking his eyes off of his... creation.

"Its called 10 questions,"

"Oh! I love that game!"

"Ok, then I start." Noritaka was looking back and forth from his game excitedly. They had three and a half minutes left. Uryuu was half way through. Neji wanted to yell at him to hurry the hell up, but he instead kept his composure. "Ok, first question. what's the square root of 95?"

"9.74679434481." he said immediately.

"Correct. Now, you ask me."

"What's my favorite color?"

"Blue."

"DARN it! How did you know, Neji-kun?"

Neji felt a twinge at the use of such a familiar way to call him. Did this child really think they were friends? The thought sickened him. Poor messed up kid.

Eighteen questions later, Uryuu had two minutes left, and Neji had one more chance to ask a question. This what was he started this stupid game for. He had to make it good.
