Prologue

All Zitao could hear was the bickering of his parents. A loud clashing sound could be heard as the young boy latched his hands onto his ears, hoping everything would be back to normal again. Upon hearing complete silence the boy stood up, tears currently rolling down his face. He walked towards his parents room and peeked through the little gap he'd created only to see his father, holding a pair of scissors in his hands, a face filled with regret. This led his eyes onto the floor where his mother once stood. A pool of thick, crimson liquid had filled the area in which she laid. Zitao backed away hands covering his small mouth, cowering in fear he ran into his room. What was to happen to him? Would he end up like his mother? Why did his father do such a sick thing?!
Questions had filled the young boys mind when he heard sudden loud footsteps approaching his room. He quickly grabbed something sharp and clasped it with dear life.

"Zitao? Where are you? I have a little present for you. Your mother of a b*tch gave you something. Come on out I wont hurt you" his father mockingly spat.

Zitao already hid under his bed, somehow he knew exactly what was going to happen and had already called the police beforehand. Loud, blaring sirens could be heard right outside their apartment.

"Tch that brat, his exactly like his mother. WEAK AND PATHETIC" his father whispered as he hastily left the room.

After the door had slammed shut Zitao ran towards his beloved mothers body. It was as cold as ice, once again tears had filled the boys eyes he screamed in agony and pain as he hugged his mother.

He wish he could turn back time, he wished his parents never fought, he wished that none of this happened.
