I was setting in my class room and I was on my phone and I get a text from my mum saying
"After school do you want to go to your dads or my house for tea your dad is having your Aunty over so I will ring you at lunch"
I ring mum at lunch.
"Hi mum, what do you mean" I say confused
"Hi love your dad sent a message to your sister but she is with her boyfriend in San Antonio, Texas and she does not get back for another 6 weeks and he really needs to tell you something" said mum
"What does he want he has not text me or called me for nearly 3 and a ½ years why does he forget about me like what he did to you" I reply
"It's not that easy me and your dad just kept having fights you should go he is trying to make it up to you"
"NO and is not trying to make it up to me because he has to put me in the same class room as Rosa so can we talk later I've got class in ten bye"
"Bye love"
I go to class in a rush and annoyed at dad and my step sister, Rosa is in my class and she is better than me and she is better, but she thinks I'm lame when she has no friends but I'm a part of the gang and I have my house here and at the beach for Saturday and Sunday. Mum texts me
"I'm coming to pick you up be there in 10" she wrote
"Ok" I write back
I get my book bag and start going to the door and my teacher tells me to get back to my set
"Mum is coming to pick me up Mrs Blossom" I say
"Ok" Mrs Blossom says
I get to the front gate and there she is in my uncle's car
"Why are you in Dan's car" I say
"Because I just got in a car cash and guess who I hit" mum said
"Who"
"Your Dad's wife"
"OH, oh um"
"And she is bad she got rush to Sydney 10 minutes ago"
I think to myself 'what do I say'. Then mum rings dad and says sorry and now we have to leave town or mum will get put in jail. I get home and start packing and I got my picture of me and my best friend with our Dads I start to cry not just a little and lot and mum walks in and says
"It's not that you do not want to leave its you and dad"
"Yes he rang I declined then he texted me and told me not to go to this tea tonight because of he thinks I'm not good enough" then I start crying and mum cry's as well
Then nan came we said to start packing we all get in mums van and start driving and I'm in the back with Milly and we played tug-a-war and nan told me it will be ok I hope it is ok. That night I woke to the sound of people talking I look on my phone its 4:30 in the morning and I row over and Nan is not there but mum is.
I ask "where's nan"
"She is outside"
"Why is she outside?"
And I look out and see her talking to Aunty Jan we are in LA.
