i was brought up as a victorian baby, yes i know it sounds great but when you put your mind to it and actuallly live it its not, ill start teh day i was christened, yes that sounds good, i was christened when i was six moths old, from the pictures my mother kept she looks old and frail, yet she was only twenty-three, now a days im lucky if i get to see her during the week. anyways just after being christened my father got a job far away on another Continent in America, hes been working there for the last fifteen or so years, i havent heard or seen him in that time and its almost Christmas, so hes due to come home and retire in the next few days. my child-hood didnt consist of alot, except for tea-parties with all my mothers friends, and their children.i never had alot of friends as a child, i was always bullied as a child because i lived on the hill were all the rich people live i never took to much notice of it. i had a good childhood most of the time anyways. once i had to be a flower girl for my mothers sister angaline, beacause she was getting marrried, i never saw her after that day. about the time i turned six my nanny died, so my mother trie to raise me by herself she couldnt handle it so in came the new nannie. my mother never copped well without my father. anyways by the time i was ten i was always i the kitchen helping the kitchen staff make meals they insisted i didnt but no matter what i helped, i wasnt going to have cooks cook all my meals so i helped them every now and again.its not like my mother cared, she never took notice of me. and this year i turned sixteen, and my father is coming home for christmas to retire, so im quite excited. this morning when i woke up my maids told me my father was to arrie at lunch and they had prepared our favourite meals, mother wouldnt be attending she's ill gldys (my maid) informed me, i was excited but also intriged, id ever rememberd my father him only being around whein i was too young to remember anything. i dressed and was down the stairs immediatly i culdnt wait to start the day i helped prepare meals and clean the house, i sorted bills and mail from relitives, tomorow night there would be a banquet for my fathers arrivel, everyone in the village knows my father they all say he is a good man. then i walk down to the village to get our bread and a book to read, iv already read all the ones in the study in the house
