Into the dark

It was a cold, stormy Saturday night. Wind howling outside my window, rain splashing making loud noises in the night.
I hadn't gotten much sleep with all the noise from the storm for the past few nights. So I lay there in the dark, thinking about him.
The only thing that on my mind was him, he's so cute and handsome but I'm to scared to talk to him. With those big hazel eyes, brown hair, great smile...I could just melt looking at him in class.
"BOOM" The noise from outside shook me from my thoughts, I got up and walked down stairs into the dark, I flick on the lights blinding myself and got some water.
I turned the lights off and went back upstairs to my room. Setting the glass of water on my bed side table, I started to crawl back into bed.
The power flickered off then back on...then my cellphone went off.
