I stood right next to the stage where the dancers went on and off and Justin would come off after the show. I tried to stay out of people's ways as good as possible but didn't leave the spot. Every now and then Justin looked over to me and I shot him a reassuring smile. He was doing just fine. The audience had no clue what went down earlier and nobody could tell. As the show progressed and people cheered him on Justin got more and more relaxed and I was glad. I didn't care that people might see me standing here watching the show. Some girls yelled at me calling me 'mistery girl' but I ignored them. The only thing I cared about was that Justin was doing okay. I had promised him to wait right here for him to come off and had every intention of keeping that promise."Thank you London! See you again tomorrow." Justin said to the audience before jogging down the stairs toward me. They handed him the towel and he wrapped it around his back walking toward me. When he got to me he immediately wrapped his arms around me and pulled the towel around the both of us. I hugged him back tightly though I got soaking wet myself in the process. "You did great, baby!" I told him earning myself a huge smile. I felt stares on us and saw the lights of cameras going off taking photos of us, but in that moment Justin and his well being was more important to me. He needed that hug and so he got it - I came second. After a moment he let go and we walked into the backstage area toward his dressing room.
"You did great!" Scooter joined us.
"Thanks man!" Justin replied nodding.
As the door to the dressing room shut I embraced him into a tight hug kissing his cheek. "You did just fine. They loved you. You should be proud!" I told him as he cupped my cheeks and kissed me passionately.
"Thank you! Really - I couldn't have done it without you. You're the best!" He gave me another peck on the lips.
"Sure. You would've been just fine though." I winked at him with a smile knowing he would have aced it even if I hadn't been there reassuring him.
He smiled at me letting go to take off his soaking wet clothes. I looked down at myself smirking and noticed my shirt was soaked. Props to you Marie for putting on a white shirt. It was now see through. I took off my cardigan to examine myself in the mirror.
"You got tattoos!?" Justin gaped at me in shock. I smirked raising my eyebrows.
"Oh yes I do." I confirmed the obvious.
"Why didn't I notice last night?" Justin wondered more to himself while going through his clothes on the racks. "Well partly because they were covered by my top and partly because you were too busy with my boobs." I smirked at him.
"Lemme see." He smirked back at me waving me over. Oh well not much he hasn't seen, so why bother. I took off my shirt and walked over to him. I turned facing him with my side showing him my 'believe' tattoo that sat just under the outline of my bra. It was different than his. My handwriting and at the end there was a line attached to the last 'e' that went in waves before being topped off by a little bird. "The girliest tattoo ever - I know." I commented chuckling as he traced his fingers over the tattoo. "Nice." He chuckled. I turned around and showed him the tiny semicolon and heart that were imprinted on the other side of my body just in the same area. I prayed he didn't know what the semicolon meant, I wasn't ready to have that talk just yet. Justin's eyes went wide in shock. He knew, great!
"Marie.." he started as I rolled my eyes.
"My teenage years were rough, but getting this was me closing that chapter for good." I informed him pulling his face close for a kiss. As I let go he still didn't seem convinced. "Look I haven't gone there in a very long time and I don't intend to ever go there again. I'm happy now." I smiled at him. "Now give me a shirt, I can hardly leave like this and you soaked my top." I smiled sweetly at him and Justin went through the clothes racks again handing me a shirt. It was obviously a couple sizes too big for me, but whatever. I pulled my cardigan back on over it - this will have to do. "How do I look?" I asked him.
