The Other World

-Chapter 21-

Mia's POV.
"Okay Sindi. Get some rest because tomorrow is going to be full of training." She nods and goes to her room, and I prepare for sleep myself. Which yes I know is stupid sense I had her and I put in the outfits I chose. Anyways, once I'm done getting ready for bed I glance to my night stand and I see the box the fortune teller gave me. I wonder if I will go to the dream world, I probably will.

Peeling back The covers to my bed I lay down falling into an instant sleep, only to be woken up getting licked by the wolf in the tore down cabin. I look around to see that it's now daylight, well sort of. The sky is black but the sun is out. It's confusing.

I pet the wolf and I get up to go outside of the cabin to see what I have to do next. I'm not sure exactly on what the whole mission is for me being here. And why me? I guess I'll have to find out.

Looking around once again, I look into the distance and I see what I think is.. a person? I snap my fingers towards the wolf to get its attention to follow me. I started to run and it follows me. Getting closer I see that is is a person.

Finally reaching them, I can't identify who the person is. "Hey are you okay?" I began to shake them, they start to cough. "Um hello" she said looking at me in confusion. "Are you okay? I found you here and you seemed to be unconscious" she sat up. "Well yes, I'm okay. Uh, who are you? And is that a wolf?" I laughed a little.

"Yes that's a wolf, and I'm Mia. Nice to meet you." I smiled. "I'm Sky, nice to meet you also." She and I both stood up. "So why are you here? How are you here rather?" She asked. "I'm not sure actually, how about you?"

"Well. I this place wasn't always like this. It was a town. There were a lot of people here, but one day something happened. It was like life or death situation. So everyone thought, it was the air, they thought it was toxic so they left. Including my family." As we walked and talked, just as I was about to ask her why she didn't go with her family. She answered.

"Your probably wondering why I didn't go with my family. You see, I'm stuck here. I've tried everything to get out of here and nothing works. I don't even know where my family went. I haven't seen a person such as myself in years. Years!" She yelled. I'm not understanding why she, the only person that couldn't leave.. couldn't leave. And why her?

"We will figure it out. I promise" she sighed. "Don't make promises you can't keep." She continued. "Anyways, I'll show you my home, follow me. I'll show you the ropes to this crazy town."

"Wait, there are houses here? I was only in a torn down cabin, that's where I found this little wolf." I pointed out. "Yes of course. Just follow me." I followed and I noticed I was finally getting closer to the moon. Its weird though. The moon wasn't in outer space. It was in orbit right above us. I'll be sure to ask about that later.

She took me to a huge house, that also had a few houses in the area in between these two small mountains. "This is my house."

Inside was fairly dark, although outside it looked like every light in the house was on. The way it looked. It made you have chills of coldness in your body as if crisp wind blew.

"Uh, I'm sorry for the poor lighting, it changes depending on the time. Sense it's getting late I'll show you to your room and give you the grand tour tomorrow" she laughed. Upstairs there is a hallway with 7 doors, 3 on one side and 3 on the other. And one dead center. My room was on the right the second door. "There are some clothes in the top drawer under the television. I'm right next door if you need me"

Smiled and noded. I snap my fingers to get the pup to follow me. I need a name for the wolf.

I change into a sweater and some sweat pants. And commence going to sleep.
-Dream ended-

Waking up. In the real world, I honestly can't believe this is happening. I need to get Sindi there. Maybe she is apart of this. I get up to get dressed and to find Sindi.

Going down the stairs to the main floor. I notice outside is rather dark with a red tint. Okay that's not normal. Now running to Sindi's room I finally find her.

"Oh thank goodness I found you." She looks shocked but turns her attention to me. "Yes. May I help you? What's wrong?" She tilts her head. "Well we need to start training and the other day I went to a fortune teller and she gave me a potion to get people in and out of my dreams.. I think you should come." I say out of breath. "Okay. I will, but now let's make that potion." She smiles
