Date Night

Chapter 1.

Levi P.O.V

Levi was tapping his foot nervously. It was his first date in his life. In fact, it was the first time he felt anxious about anything. He was always calm. But not in this situation. He was always awkward when it came to romance. He checked his watch. It read 6:08.His date, Mina Caroline said she was going to meet him around 5:30. He noticed looks of pity from nearby.  He looked down, feeling  embarrassed that he was stood up on his first date. 

Suddenly, He heard the door to the restaurant open. The person quickly rushed to the booth Levi was sitting at and sat across from him. "Sorry Im late! there was so much traffic! Im so sorry" The boy gushed. He looked about 20, Levi's age. He had shaggy brown hair and slightly tan skin, and he was tall... taller than him. Everyone was taller than him. But his eyes, oh his eyes were lovely. They were emerald green, wide and alert, with some of his hair obstructing his sight. The brunette brushed his hair out of his eyes. Levi stared blankly at the Brunette. (Who is this guy, and why is he suddenly sitting with me?) Levi thought. The waiter came to their table. "Hello, Im Sasha and I will be your server tonight, what can I get you two to drink" She asked with a smile. "Hello,  I would like a water" said Levi. She quickly scribbled it down. "And you sir" she asked the Brunette. "Coke please" he asked. "Right on it" She sped away to the kitchen. "Who the hell are you?" Levi asked  harshly. The Brunette looked at him "Oh Im sorry, My name is Eren Jaeger, I saw your outside and I couldn't help but notice that you were eating all alone, so I came inside to sit with you." He replied. He leaned closer to Levi. "who ever stood you up was an ass" he added. Levi chuckled, surprised that a random stranger, an attractive one at that would worry about him. "Well, thank you, you are very kind" said Levi. "I-It's no trouble" stammered Eren. "So tell me about yourself" asked Levi, wanting to know more about this Brunette. "Well, uh, Im 20 years old and I just transferred to Sina University, the one near by" He replied. "Oh what a coincidence, so do I" observed Levi. "Oh wow, what is your major, mine is Human Resources" said Eren. " That is mine too, looks like we have a lot in common" Levi remarked. The continued to talk about themselves. Levi learned that Eren's  favourite colour was  grey-blue, like Levi's eyes. And that Eren liked meatloaf, which is what he ordered after they got their drinks. They exchanged phone numbers. Levi liked Eren, he was pretty cute. The deserts they ordered came in.  Eren got chocolate cake, which looked to big for him to eat by himself. Levi ordered a small lemon tart. "Can you even finish that?" Levi asked. "Don't underestimate my eating skill Levi" Eren snickered. He continued to eat his tart while Eren continued to inhale his cake. Levi couldn't stifle a laugh. "hwhatf?"  Eren asked with a mouthful of cake. "Slow down, you'll choke" Levi stated. "Wouldn't want you to die on our first date" said Levi. Eren gulped down his drink. "whatever, im finished, shall we?" Asked Eren. "Sure" after the paid the bill, they walked outside. "your pretty short' Eren said flatly. Levi tensed. "I-I know" he huffed. "I think thats cute" blurted Eren. Levi looked at Eren. "Eren..." Levi started.  " Well, uh,have a nice night" He stammered. He waved and sped off to his car. Levi watched Eren as he drove away. He then walked to his own car and hoped in. (Well that was interesting) Levi thought as he turned on the engine. (He was super cute, I want to see him again) Levi continued to think about Eren as he drove to his apartment. He arrived at his room and opened the door to see Erwin, his roommate sitting on the couch in the living room. "So how did it go" He asked. "Better than expected" Levi said with a smile. "Well, aren't you going to tell me?" Erwin started. Levi wasn't paying attention as he walked into hi room. Levi was the happiest he had been in a while, even though it had only been one date, but that Eren made Levi feel differently. He sighed as he changed into his sleeping clothes, which was  a comfy long sleeved shirt an his boxers. He laid down to sleep, still thinking of Eren as he drifted off too sleep.
