I look out the little airplane window admiring the beautiful view; The sun is setting and creating all kinds of beautiful pink and purple colours, below I can see us leaving Sydney behind, the last destination of the 1989 world tour. What an amazing year it's been, what an amazing experience and how many amazing and unforgettable memories I and everyone else attending the shows have now to look back on. It's amazing thinking that we were all there in one room, different locations and different cities each night, together singing and dancing, having the time of our lives but now it's all just special memories. I smile to myself, I feel an overwhelmed happiness that quickly transforms into an overwhelmed sadness thinking that it's now over, that I'm no longer going to stand on stage looking out at an endless ocean of crowds saying ''welcome to the 1989 world tour''.

As I was reminiscing back on the tour and all the happy memories I could see the people getting smaller, the tall buildings getting shorter and the city becoming a beautiful portrait before we got through the thick white clouds and all that was in sight was the now very orange and pink sky and some clouds beneath us. ''What are you thinking about Taylor?'' My thoughts are interrupted by a very familiar voice, Karlie.

I look over at the beautiful tall woman who's sitting opposite me, completely mesmerised by her beauty, as always. Her arm is resting against the window seal, her head is resting on her hand and she's looking at me with wide eyes, raised eyebrows and her lips are dressed with a smirky smile; I call this the typical ''Karlie look'', It's a very flirty ''I know something's up'' kinda look. ''I was just.. I don't know thinking about the tour and how this is the end..'' I realise how sad it sounds and look down at my hands and I begin to fiddle with my skirt. I feel Karlies hands land on my legs as she softly places my hand in between hers and says ''I remember you creating this beautiful tour whilst sitting on my living room floor, sketching it all up and telling me all about what you wanted it to be. You gave your ideas life and you've done so well, I am so proud of you.'' I can feel her looking at me, I'm still looking down at our hands and I can feel my cheeks warming up. I look up and meet her intense green eyes. ''I love you Karlie.'' I said it quietly, quieter than I expected it to be, it almost came out as a whisper. ''I love you too, Taylor'' she whispered back with a big smile on her lips, it is so contagious. I begin laughing ''we need to stop being this soppy if we're going to last this flight, how long are we on here for anyway?'' I asked as Karlie let go of my hand and I start looking through my bag. ''You're right and we still have 22 hours, so'' karlie looks at me with a confused look wondering what I am looking for in my bag. I grab a set of cards that I always keep in my bag for flight entertainment. ''Card game?'' I say loudly, already setting the game up. ''Prepare to lose Taylor'' Karlie says with a confident smile on her face as she gets herself comfortable.

''Ugh, I'm out'' I sigh as I throw my hand of cards on the table and burry my head between my hands. ''You're such a sore loser Taylor...'' Karlie says gently before continuing her sentence loud and proudly ''but... I told you I was going to win'' she laughs and gives me a wink. I'm now bursting out with laughter ''there's a difference between winning and cheating'' I say trying not to laugh even harder, I knew Karlie hadn't cheated but I do indeed hate to lose and it is always fun winding her up, although I always fail as she's the most relaxed human being I've ever come across.

''Anyways, I'm going to nap as we still have like 20 hours or so left on this plane'' Karlie says whilst looking at the time on her phone, she puts her phone down on the table between us and I notice her new background ''hey, that's from last night!'' I shouted now holding the phone in my hands looking at the photo. It's a quick selfie Karlie took of us last night before I went out on stage again to perform 'Style'. Karlie was kissing my cheek and my lips were dressed with a enormous smile, I look so happy. ''I really like this photo, send it to me before you-'' I look up and Karlie is already fast asleep, she can fall asleep anywhere at anytime, it's actually quite fascinating. ''-fall asleep'' I smile and look back down at the phone at our photo. I put Karlies phone back on the table and pick up the white tangly mess that are supposedly my headphones. I start to untangle them before I plug them into my phone and open my music library up, 'Photograph' by Ed Sheeran starts playing, I lean my head back and close my eyes.

''Taylor, we're landing'' I open my eyes and see Karlie leaning over the table towards me, her hand is on my shoulder as she was trying to wake me up, I can't even remember falling asleep. ''You must have been exhausted'' she smirks. I scrunch my face and rub my eyes, then peer out the window too see the New York city lights sparkling in the distance. We grew closer and closer to my favourite city in the whole wide world. I could feel my heart racing with excitement. It only took a few moments for the plane to finally hit the ground and come to a long powerful break. I jump up out of my seat and slip my handbag over my shoulder and meet Karlies eyes, she's smiling at me. I feel a sudden rush of butterflies in my stomach and quickly look down and start making my way through the isle and out of the airplane to find out car waiting for us.

****Hi everyone, I'm Angel and I just wanted to apologise for this first chapter being so short but the reason for that is because I wanted to keep it simple and use this chapter to introduce you to the story and my way of writing. I hope you enjoyed it anyway and I can't wait to continue this story and add more chapters to it. *****
