'These are my old make up chests, I'll show you the basics now' she started and the next half hour was her showing me what perfect stuff to use when going to school.
'Ok now this is eyeliner, you have 5 different colours and they all need to be sharpened' she pointed out and showed me a black, brown, blue, purple and a beautiful gold.
'All can be used for school but if you clash them, it looks great!'
'What's clashing?' I asked and she showed me on herself. She put half black and the other gold they clashed together perfectly.
'That looks really good' I commented and she clapped to me and said 'Looks like you're getting the hand of styles'
'Now how to put on eyeliner, two ways One you can do it the easy way and trace just under the lower eyelash or two use one hand to pull down the bottom of your eye and the other hand with the eyeliner trace the tiny line right here'
I nodded and she moved on to mascara which she had two of the same brand but different colours.
'Okay this one is for the top and this one is for the bottom; get them mixed up and it looks like lady gaga's old fashion styler who she fired'
I nodded again and she took out a purple homemade bottle.
'Smell'
I sniffed and was hit with a beautiful bubble-gum smell.
'That's tanning cream; so much better than foundation because this one actually helps skin, not break it'
'Your eyes are somewhat different, especially because they are a beautiful green; it's hard to find the perfect colours for it. But stick with your dark browns, nudes, skins and light pinks until your tan picks up because right now you're not that tan but your skin is a normal colour but a little too pale'
She showed me what colours are best for school and then she began on the lipstick, lip gloss and balm.
'Ok, your lips are full which means a lot of beautiful colours could fit; such as purple, red, light pinks, brown or subtle blue'
I nodded and she looked at my straight hair and said 'Your hair is naturally straight which means it's easy to control, so keep it straight but not in the horrific bun or pony tail, Right now I am going to teach you to braid half of it and swoop it under'
She showed me how to swoop and braid then showed me to do a waterfall with all my hair.
She released my hair and brushed it making it straight again, before showing me the light blushes I should use to school then pointed at 3 foundations.
'Foundations are only for emergency such as pimple break out, scar or bruise; other than those don't use it' she instructed seriously and I nodded quickly. Then she opened the other silver one and it showed heaps of necklaces, hair accessories, rings, belly button piercings, lip piercings, eyes piercings, bracelets and earrings.
'I've already got you an appointment to get your ears done but all these are suitable for school except this collection' she pointed to a little compartment where gold everything shined.
'That's for special occasions'
'OK, I think I got it' I told her and she stood me up and took me into the closet.
She went through the whole closet; quizzing me about what's good and what's not. She threw out all these clothing that she said were out of style. I walked out and looked at the clothing and said 'I can make something out of these'
