Chapter 13: Lexi's POV:
I wake up in the morning to a heavy feeling on my waist and instantly freak out. I look to see an arm laying peacefully on my waist. When I look at the owner of the arm I freak out and push the sleeping Chase off my bed. With a loud thump Chase sits up with a scowl on his face and looks around the room.
I instantly remember what had happened yesterday and internally groan. 'I freaking pushed him off the bed' I thought to myself 'I will never hear the end of this'
"why the fuck did you push me off the bed, I was having a nice sleep there" he said with an edge of amusement in his voice
'well I freaked out" I say honestly "imagine waking up to a random guy in your bed, you would freak out too"
He doesn't reply but just laughs, then he looks at his phone and out comes a whole heap of profanities. "what's wrong" I ask concerned. He doesn't say anything but just holds out his phone for me too look at.
At first I look at the photo of him and his brother and sister out in the park on a giant swing bringing a smile to my face but that smile instantly disappears when I see thee time and realise that we completely over slept, and that we only have ten minutes to be at school by. Chase runs out of the room and I assume he is rushing to get home to change to get to school.
I run to my closet and garb out a black crop top, my dark black denim jeans and my burgundy bomber jacket to wear over the top. Running to my bathroom I quickly slip on my clothes, brush my teeth and put my hair into a half-up-bun thing and run out of the room. at the door I quickly slip on my burgundy doc martens and key and run out the front door making sure I lock it on the way out.
When I get outside I instantly freeze when I look over to Chase who is wearing a fitted white top with dark denim jeans and a leather jacket hanging perfectly from his muscular frame. Chase is sitting on a motorbike or I like to call 'a death trap'.
"hop on" he says motioning to the Motorbike "we will be at school in less than 5 minutes"
I look from his face to the bike. The realisation draws on me as I walk toward the death trap. Its either ride on Chase's bike or be late to school and arrive in the safety of my beloved Jeep but would rather ride the death trap than be late. That part of the goody girl over powering my new rebellious personality.
As much as I hate to admit it, not that deep down I'm still the helpless good girl who is too afraid to break the rules. And as hard as I try to push her away she will always be there.
