You and Luke are lying on the grass watching clouds go by like you have all the time in the world. Your pinking fingers are linked up, that’s been yours and Luke’s thing since you met, it’s a sign of what good friends you are, best friends… nothing more. ‘I like the sky’ he says.
‘I know Luke, you’re always taking pictures of it’ you say laughing slightly as he rolls his eyes.
After a few more clouds pass by Luke speaks up ‘I pick truth’
‘What?’ you say confused as to what he’s talking about.
‘I want to play truth or dare, and I pick truth’ he smirks.
‘Ok… umm’ you hesitate trying to think of a good truth to ask him, ‘Tell me a secret that nobody knows, not even me.’
Luke glances at you, he looks almost… nervous? ‘I like somebody’
Your mouth drops open, Luke likes somebody… your heart breaks a little. ‘Why haven’t you told me Lukey? We’re best friends’ you emphasize covering up your disappointment.
‘You can’t ask two truths! It’s my turn.’ He says smirking.
‘Truth’
‘Ok let me seeeeee, who do you like?’ he questions
You squirm ‘You Luke, I like you’ you think but out loud you say ‘Nobody’
‘Y/N, its truth or dare, you’re not allowed to lie’ as usual Luke sees through your act.
You decide to jump straight in, Luke isn’t going to let this go quickly ‘I’ve liked him for a while and we’re quite close, I don’t think he really notices me that way though…’ you finish of sadly. Luke’s looking strangely sad and disappointed.
‘You haven’t said a name yet Y/N’ he whispers.
You close your eyes ‘He’s you Luke…’ you hear gasp and you feel your heart drop, he doesn’t like me back. Then you feel his warm breathe on your face. Slowly you open your eyes fearing the worst.
‘I dare you to kiss me’ he murmurs as he brings his face closer to yours.
You simply say ‘Ok’ and with that you feel Luke’s lips crash against yours, his lip ring electrifying the kiss. He fits perfectly to you.
He breaks away and says ‘I dare you to be my girlfriend’
‘I think I can defiantly do that’ you breathe.
