"No, Tora. I can walk. There's no need for you to--"

The tall bluenette abruptly paused from rejecting the assistance offered by a former classmate.

"Daichi," she muttered with her voice slowly losing it's strength.

She didn't expect to see her ex-husband in such place along with the woman who wrecked their almostly perfect family.

"Aoi," the man spoke upon noticing her presence. She didn't met his eyes nor said another word. Instead, she turned back to faced her old acquaintance.

 "I'm sorry, Tora," she whispered.

With balled fists she abruptly pulled the brunette's collar and vulgarly planted a kiss on his lips. Both men had their eyes widened in shock. They didn't expect her to do such thing even if she's drunk

"You know, I don't want to sound rude but WHO ARE YOU by the way?"

"I'm Kuzuhara Aoi. You're new mom."

"HUH?" Riko raised a brow at what the older woman said.

Of course, there's no way she'd possibly believe such joke especially coming from a person she just met.

"Take a seat first, Riko." Her dad finally spoke.

"You too, Aoi."

 "But Tora?"

"I'm her father. It's my obligation to explain everything to my daughter."

The two girls did. They both seated.Looking at his daughter's confused expression and the slight upsetting look on Aoi's face, Kagetora cleared his throat.

He started, "I know this was sudden but, Aoi and I ... "

 "...we decided to get married."

It took Riko a few seconds before she finally realized the statement said by her father.

"EEEEEEH?!!" She overly reacted through her late realization.

"You can't be serious? You are?"

"RIGHT?! There's no way you'd get remarried, aren't you, papa?" She asked, anxiously.

Her father who had raised her alone when her mother died when she was still young, chose to remained silent. It's more than enough for her to understand.

"I see," she said quietly, lowering her head.

 "When was it?"

Aoi turned her gaze onto Kagetora's direction before formally giving a reply.

"By the end of the month."

"G ... Great. I ... I'll make sure ... I'll ... be available when that day comes," the petite brunette said, stammering.

She quickly checked the calendar on her phone and noted the day. Her fingers were trembling while she type date with her caramel eyes that seemed to burst into tears.

"Uhm... Excuse me. I just need to go to the restroom," Riko announced, ascending from her seat.

"Sure. Take your time, honey," her future step mother said, sweetly.

When Riko finally left their table, Aoi reached for Kagetora's hand.

"Do you think it will be fine?" She asked, worriedly.
