Deans P.O.V.
"Beth-" I started, but Sam cut me off.
I walk back inside and sit on the couch.  I felt bad. I didn't want the damn thing, not just because I don't want to be a dad; I'm not ready for a kid. I'm young, I still have a life and I'm not gonna let a baby ruin that. I thought I wanted the baby. I thought I was doing what was best for them. I soon realized I was making up excuses, it's not that I don't want to be like my dad; that was just part of it. I just didn't want the baby. I didn't want her to get rid of it though. I sigh. Whatever, it's her choice. It's not my kid.
-Skip Six Years-
Beth's P.O.V.
It's been 6 years since I've seen Dean. Sam comes and visits when he can, telling Dean he's going on a solo hunt or to see a friend. Dean still doesn't know that I didn't give Lily up. She was a spitting image of Dean. She's staying the night at Jody's tonight. I just dropped her off and I miss her already. She's never stayed anywhere else but Jody was babysitting another kid that's was around Lily's age. She doesn't have many friends so I thought it'd be a good idea. As I pull into Bobby's my phone rings.
"Hello?"
"Dean and I are in town, we need a place to stay. I begged him to stay at a motel but he said the whole point of visiting Bobby was to spend time with him."
I inhale sharply.
"How long are you guys staying? Lily's at Jody's tonight."
"A week. I'm so sorry."
I sigh.
"I gotta go."
"Wait, there's something e-"
I hung up, not wanting to hear it. I'm not mad at Sam, I'm just stressed out. I see the impala coming down the road and I run inside. I quickly pick up all of Lily's toys and hide any pictures of her. I shove it all in the closet for now. I hear the door open.
"Bobby?"
Dean walks in and sees me.
"Uh, where's Bobby? Why are you here?"
"Excuse me?"
"Sam told me you moved out."
"When did he say that?"
"Like three years ago."
I forgot I told Sam to tell him that.
"I moved back."
He awkwardly shuffles.
"Wha-"
I'm cut off by a little boy that seems to be about 8 years old.
"Dean! Mom said I could sleep with you and she'll take the other guest room!"
"Nice! Good job, Ben. Go ahead and take your stuff upstairs."
"Yes sir."
Um what? Maybe I shouldn't have hung up on Sam. Sam soon comes in, a pretty woman with dark hair trailing behind him. She kisses Deans cheek and walks upstairs. I look at Sam, hoping for an explanation.
"That's Lisa, my uh- my girlfriend and her son Ben."
I was suddenly pissed. He can date someone that already has a kid but can't man up and be a dad to his own kid? I was broken out of my thoughts when my phone started ringing.
"Hello?"
"Beth!"
I couldn't understand anything Jody was saying.
"Jody, calm down. What happened?"
"She's puking. There's blood everywhere."
My eyes widen.
"I'm on my way."
I hang up the phone and frantically grab my bag.
"Sam, you have to take me to Jody's. Right now. I'll explain on the way."
He nods and snatches the keys from Dean, not even bothering to ask for them. When we got to Jody's I called Lily's doctor. He said it had to have been an allergic reaction. Turns out she's allergic to peanuts. I took her by the doctors office and they gave her a shot that made her stop throwing up. I took her home and thanked the doctor. We pulled up to Bobby's and I sighed. She jumped out of my arms and jumped on Sam.
"Uncle Sam!"
"Hey kiddo."
She grinned and jumped down, running straight into the house.
"Lily wait!"
Too late, she was already in the door. I ran in after her and she was frozen in her spot.

(Deans reaction.)
"Mommy who's that man?"
"That's uh- that's uncle Sam's brother."
"I have another uncle?"
I just nod. She can't know. She giggles and jumps into his arms.
"Lily, honey. You just met him, give him time to adjust."
She bites her finger like she always does when she's about to cry. She's very emotional.
"No, no, no. Don't cry." I whisper, getting on my knees in front of her.
"I didn't mean to mommy."
"You didn't do anything baby."
I kiss her forehead as she nods.
"Can I hug him now?" She whispers.
I laugh. She's not the best at whispering so I know he heard.
"No, I don't know you." He says harshly.
I look at him, shocked. He can't play along as her uncle for one week?! She bites her finger again. This time not holding it in. She starts sobbing. Now I'm pissed. She runs behind me and I go to follow her until I realize she was running to Sam. He picks her up and spins her around.
"Don't cry, kiddo. I'll take you to get some pie."
And as if nothing happens, she smiles.
"I want pie! Mommy can I go?"
"Of course."
I smile at Sam, silently thanking him. He just nods, getting the keys to the impala once more. Once I heard the impala start, I looked at Dean. Before I could say anything Lisa and Ben walk downstairs. They had to leave. Something about Ben being sick. Luckily she brought her own car. Once they left I looked at Dean again.
"What the hell is wrong with you?!"
"What are you talking about?"
He rolls his eyes.
"You just made my kid cry. Are you happy?"
"She was just being sensitive."
"She's four!"
"Well she's annoying and bitchy like her mother."
That's it. I slap him as hard as I possibly can. I regret it immediately. Anger should never be the answer.
"I-I'm sorry. You-"
He nods. I run into the kitchen to get an ice pack and quickly kneel in front of him, pressing it to his face gently.
"I'll try to be nicer to her. I can pretend to be her uncle. I just- I was shocked and I acted out."
I nod, I should've told him I kept her but I didn't want him to know. He didn't want her. I sit beside Dean. A little while later, the door opens. Lily walks in holding a box and a fork.
"Uncle Sam said you like pie too." She giggles and sets it on the couch beside Dean.
"Come here, kid." Dean whispers.
She walks closer and looks at him. He pulls her into a hug and her face lights up, wrapping her arms around his neck. She leans back and opens the box.
"Apple pie is my favorite. I got you apple too."
She puts some on a fork and pushes it towards his face. He slowly opens his mouth and she smiles putting the pie in his mouth. As soon as it's gone she sits on the floor next to Sam and looks at all of us curiously.
"Mommy?"
"Yes?"
"I have my uncles and you and grandpa Bobby but.. why don't I have a daddy?"
I look at her shocked. She's never brought this up before.
"Why are you asking? You've never asked before."
"All of my friends have daddies. Why don't I?"
I sigh and look over at Dean. He looks surprisingly upset.

"He went somewhere

"He went somewhere. I don't know where. He- your uncles love you though. They're here."
She looks at Sam and Dean and smiles.
"Okay."
She grabs Deans hand and he looks surprised but doesn't pull his hand away.
I sigh. This is going to be one long week.
