A Trip Through The Mirror

A year after Princess Twilight Sparkle returned from the human world everything is grand back in Equestria, until an urgent message is delivered to Princess Twilight. Straight from Princess Celestia it says: Dear Princess Twilight, I am sorry to inform you but I need you and your friends help back at the castle as soon as possible. Thank you, Princess Celestia. Twilight immediately phones her friends telling each of the six to report to the castle at once. 

A day later Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, and Applejack are all surrounding Princess Twilight wondering whats going on. Everything all at once is making Twilight stressed out. Out of the blue Twilight just screams. "What's wrong, Twilight?" Fluttershy asks. "Everything is stressing me out, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done that" replies Twilight. "It's alright" the group says in unison. After a brief moment of silence the group heads on into Princess Celestia's throne room. Celestia looks up in surprise and says "Oh, thank goodness you're here" and pushes everything aside. "Luna and I need to talk with the six of you, let me go get Luna, make yourselves comfortable while you wait" Princess Celestia says happily as she leaves the room. The six girls all just stand there awkwardly not saying a word as they wait. 

Momentarily  Princess Celestia returns with Princess Luna. They sit side by side with looks of worry across their faces. "Alright, girls...Here's what we need you to do" says Princess Luna. "Remember when Princess Twilight went through the mirror to the unknown land?" says Princess Celestia. "Yes" replies the six. "Well...we regretfully inform you that an evil fiend has stricken once again" says Celestia. "It's not Sunset Shimmer, she has done well since the last visit, but this time it is an old student of mine named Shining Star" Celestia informs them. The six girl's faces have a look of worry across them. "Don't worry, this time you have exactly a week to find her, but she has stolen something that we desperately need back, she has stolen...Discord" Twilight's mouth drops. "How did she manage that?!" Twilight Cries. "We don't know at the moment but we are looking into it" Luna replies. "Are you up for the challenge?" Celestia asks. "Yes" the six reply. They all spend the night at the castle preparing for the adventure that awaits the following day. 

The next morning they all get an extra early wake up call from Celestia herself. They all go to the dining room to find a grand breakfast awaiting them. They all eat plenty and then Luna and Celestia come in side by side and ask if they are ready "Of course! I've been ready since last night!" replies Rainbow Dash. "Well...I guess..." says Fluttershy. "Why, yes darling!" says Rarity. "YES! YES! YES! I'M SO NERVOUSITED!" screams Pinkie. "Yee Haw! You bet your britches I am!" replies Applejack "A little nervous, but yeah" finally replies Twilight. Luna and Celestia lead them to a small room with the mirror against the back wall. 

Spike casually walks in and wonders aloud "Hey Twilight, what are we doing here?". "Spike, where have you been?! We have to go back through the mirror to stop Shining Star before she frees Discord" replies Twilight with a bit of anger. "WOAH! WAIT! We're not going through that mirror again!" yells Spike. "Well, you don't have to but we are" motions Twilight to the rest of the girls. "Well, if you're going, I will too" says Spike with complete confidence. "Well...Alright then, I guess he's going too" says Celestia. She points toward the mirror and says "If you're not back by the rising of the moon at the end of the week you will be stuck there untill it opens back up again, and who knows how long it would be" "Yes ma'am" says the group. Twilight and spike are the first to go through the mirror. Second is Rainbow Dash and Rarity. Then goes through Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, and Applejack.
