I couldn't think straight. I don't know how to react upon hearing what attorney told us about Papa's Last Will and Testament. It consumed me after the lawyer left.

Confusion and disgust was very evident on Melissa's face. Para bang balisa siya sa mga nalaman at hirap iproseso sa isip ang mga iyon.

Well, I didn't expect that. I am, too was also clueless and of course, shocked. Hindi ko hinangad ang kahit anong kayamanan o ari-arian ni Papa. I am wholeheartedly willing to give it to Melissa but the Attorney says that he can't change what is already written in there.

I can feel the weight of Melissa's sharp stare on me. I look at her and our gazes met.

"Did you planned all of this? Did you convince Papa about this whole thing?" She said accusingly. Like she was talking to a criminal.

My mouth fell open as my brows furrowed because of her accusations.

"I didn't know about this, Melissa. Please, believe me." I said in a low, convincing voice. I shook my head, it looks like she doesn't believe me at all.

"Stop it, Melissa! You're being immature! Why are you blaming him?" Margaux interjects as she tried to defend me and enlighten Melissa as well.

"I am not being immature! Kinakampihan mo ba siya Ate? I am your sister but why are you defending him?" Melissa answered in an equal and irritated voice.

"Yes, Melissa. I am your sister, your older sister! Kaya kita pinagsasabihan ngayon. He has nothing to do with this so stop accusing him and just accept papa's legacy." Hindi naman nagpatalo si Margaux at nakipagtagisan ng tingin sa kapatid.

Melissa defeatedly sighed in resignation before she walks out of the room. Naiwan kaming tatlo nina Margaux at Zach sa kwarto. She looked at me apologetically. She walked towards me and she lightly tapped my shoulders.

"I'm sorry about that. I hope you have a long patience and you're still willing to help her—to help us." She said with a pleading and regretful eyes.

I slightly smiled and nodded para ipabatid na wala siyang dapat ipaumanhin, "Of course. I am more than willing. I'm so sure of that." Sagot ko.

She sighed in relief. "Thank you." Maikling sambit ni Margaux.

Tumango tango ako. "I think I should go now." I said dismissively.

Gusto ko sanang sundan si Melissa but I think that I should just give her space and time now—funny that I already given her that for a long time but yeah... I will give her space and time again. Hanggang sa lumamig ang ulo niya. Ayoko namang mas lalo siyang mamuhi sa akin.

"Okay. I will just call you again." Aniya. Tumango lang ako bago ako tuluyang umalis sa kwarto.

Nang mapadaan ako sa kwarto ni Melissa ay nakita kong medyo nakaawang ang pinto ng kwarto niya. Narinig kong may kausap siya. I know I shouldn't eavesdropping but I can't help it, lalo na nang marinig ko ang pangalan ng lalaking iyon mula sa kanya.

"Dion, no... Stay at rest, okay?" rinig kong sabi niya sa kabilang linya.

Kausap niya si Dion sa telepono at tila pinipigilan niya ito. Pero saan? Did she already said what happened earlier to him? Ganon ba nito kabilis malaman lahat ng nangyayari sa buhay ni Melissa?
