Darkness

Your grave, Capitel 1

Imagine waking up in the middle of the night. Naturally you expect to lie in your bed but the ground seems to be too hard. Also there are sounds of breaking brought and leaves as soon as you move. Even as you breath you feel like the volume would bear a outbreaking vulcano. You try to open your eyes, but they aren't closed! You can feel the wind on your iris, you know they are wide open but though you can't see. It is dark. So dark! There are no shadows, no the smallest bit of light. Just black, unshaped darkness. Maybe you just have to turn on your night light. But you grab into nothing.  Gropingly you move your hand, searching for the light switch. As you hand moves around you feel something like a thin branch.. no.. more like.. a finger? It can't be, the thing is too thin to be a finger.. expect... Shocked you let out a scream. Now you are able to feel every single bone of the hand! Where are you? How did you even come here? Yesterday  you lied on your bed, scrolling through Facebook, and now? Where are you? What is the place you are at? A forest? A grave? Why is there a skeleton next to you?

You should stand up, just lying around won't get you anywhere!  But your body doesn't cooperate. Your legs aren't moving, your arms are just twitch uncontrollable. Now you know what a hedgehog feels like the moment before a car kills him. Helpless, blended, blind! Helpless! Why are you so helpless all of sudden? With all the power inside of you, telling yourself everything will be fine, that someone will save you, that your family, your friends are going to miss you, will search for you, you try to get up. Slowly you move your hands towards your face, searching for your eyes, pressing onto them untill you see dancing lights in front of your eyelids. Hoping to be able to see something your open your eyes again. But there is nothing. Just the same old darkness! Why is nobody here to help you? Anyone! "HELP!!", you shout "HELP!! I AM HERE! PLEASE! I CAN'T SEE! IS THRE SOMEONE? PLEASE, HELP ME!!". No answer.

Suddenly you get the thought that there could be someone. The one who brought you here, who did put you where you aren't able to see anything. Maybe the same person that brought the skeleton next to you here. Or killed the person that skeleton might have been. And with your shouting you told them where you are! How they could find you! Even if someone answers now, how can you be sure it isn't a psychopath who wants to murder you? But what reason should a killer have to bring you here? He would have killed you some time ago, wouldn't he? Or would someone wait for you to wake up, helpless, blind, wanting to kill you as soon as you cry for help? Fuck! You have to go away! There is no reason you should stay here, you really shouldn't!!!  Get up!! Come on! Don't be such a baby! Your legs get up, but your head bangs against a wall above you! What the hell! Maybe this is a kind of cave? Okay, no problem! On your knees and hands you crawl through the place. Now you grope at the sides, hoping there would be walls, and yes, there are! Stone walls to be concrete. So there must be way out of here! However you got here, if someone was able to put you here you should be able to get out! 

It feels like hours what could be just minutes passing by. Your hands hurt as if you would have worked on a field for multiple hours. Maybe they are bleeding, but how could you know? Not a sinlge stroke of light has gotten to you since waking up in this hopeless place. Why would someone even create a place where nobody is able to see anything? Even if this is for  garbage or something, there must be people to look after it. The only reason to not install any possibilities for light to get in would be if there never were and never will be humans. A grave! But why would there be tunnels in a grave? Someone lies here, dead! You already got to know this someone since you woke up next to them, nearly held hands with it.
