"so do you text him?" Paul had jumped out of the corner and was staring at Ringo intensely.

"I don't know, what do you think?" Ringo deadpanned and shoved his phone in Paul's face.

"you did text back! so does that mean that we can find a way to--hey, don't you care that John has a new boyfriend?" Paul said, face showing extreme hurt once he realized what had happened.

"no I don't actually," Ringo said, though there was a bit of an edge to his voice. "it's his life and I don't to tell him what to do."

"oh please! you're his roommate for god's sake! and you kissed him too, don't think I forgot!" Paul kept hollering, more and more customers looking over towards them.

"Paul? Ringo?" George had passed by and sat on the stool behind the register to look after them.

"what? we haven't done anything wrong. not yet at least." Paul winked and blew a kiss at his boyfriend.

"oh I hope not." George grumbled and reached into his pocket for a stick of gum.

"anywho, what are you gonna do? it's not like John even likes Stu in the first place." Paul shrugged and for some reason Ringo felt his cheeks go red.

it had been at least 5 weeks since they had moved in together when John had come home at least 3 hours later, absolutely shitfaced.

"okay John just settle down here--who are you?" a handsome man had entered with John in his arms.

"who are you?" Ringo answered, reaching for the nearest object that was capable of causing some destruction just in case this man was up to something.

"well I'm John's coworker, Stu Sutcliffe. we went out drinking and the lad got a bit carried away so I'm taking him home. and this is his home right?" Stu had answered calmly.

"yeah, I'm his roommate, Ringo." the blue eyed man said, going red when he heard Stu snort at the name.

"Ringo eh? well then I hope you can bare this one while he's drunk. gets a bit looney." Stu grinned and looked down when John had started to squirm around in his arms.

"Stu? that you?" he murmured, twisting around until he was nose to nose with Stu.

"yes Johnny now let go." Stu sighed and tried to lay him down on the couch.

"you're very pretty, Stu. very very pretty." John giggled, reaching over for Stu's face.

"yes thank you John but it's time for you to get some rest. I'll call you up in the morning to check on you." Stu said and released his grip on John.

"it was, er nice to meet you, Bongo." Stu tried smiling and left before he could say another word.

"it's Ringo actually." the blue eyed man said and turned over to see John babbling to himself in the floor.

it'd be a long night.

"okay I may not like the guy but I still have to respect John's decisions. his stupid, stupid decisions." Ringo sighed and spun around in the chair until he felt himself get dizzy.

"hey don't say that about your future boyfriend." Paul gasped, George turning around so that Paul wouldn't have to see him snicker.

"he's not my future boyfriend. and he never will be." Ringo added on when he saw Paul start to open his mouth to say something.

"okay so I think I deserve some background on what's been happening." George said, petting Paul's hair absentmindedly.

"oh gosh you've missed it! so John kissed him and now John got a boyfriend, you know that dumb little whore in the office who wins his earnings on sucking dick and has mediocre art? yeah him. anyways, he tricked John into dating him so now the real lovebirds are separated! but the only important thing to know is that Johnny boy finally got the balls to kiss Ringo! isn't this great man?" Paul smiled, eyes wide, hands making grand gestures.

"okay, why don't we hear it from Ringo's perspective, yeah?" George said checked on Paul's temperature to make sure he wasn't coming down with a cold or something.

"it's all true." was the only thing that Ringo had to add.

"you sure that's all?" George cocked up an eyebrow and looked at Ringo steadily.

"yeah I guess so." Ringo shrugged. but something was tapping at the back of his head, a thought he was hoping would come out of his mouth.

"are you super sure? you have that face," Paul began to smile and poked at Ringo's cheek.

"what face?" George asked, wondering as to why Paul was amazed at the situation.

"he wants to say something, just hiding it from us. you used to have that face all the time y'know." Paul smirked when George went a deep crimson.

"oh please, you wouldn't have me. as a matter of fact, you don't deserve me." George barked back and Paul shrunk back.

"how about we skip the name game for once?" the two men jumped back when they heard Ringo call them out.

he was thinking about John the whole time they were bickering. the whole time. with his stupid jokes, his stupidly adorable grin, his beautiful eyes, his dumb self in general. and Ringo hated to admit it, but he might've been head over heels for him.

and he hated to admit that he'd spend more time denying it than accepting the fact that John had found his way into his heart.
