*A few years ago in the Kingdom of Kouka*

"What is the duty of a proper princess?" Haru, my maid, asked me while we revised today's lesson.

My thirteen year-old self sighed in exaustion. I was too nervous to think straight, or even to concentrate on Haru's class.

"Murai-hime!" She snapped her fingers in front of me "you were doing so well on the other days! Please, care to focus okay?" She asked and I sighed.

"Yona, can you answer this question? What is the duty of a proper princess?" Haru asked my twin sister and she smiled gladly.

"To be faithful and loyal to her family, kingdom and to the gods above all" Yona responded with a smile and Haru nodded.

"That is correct" She said with a smile.

"Can I go now?" I asked not paying attention to anything they were saying.

"As future queen, you can't leave such an important class" Haru said to me" Murai you are excelent on math, and history...But when you get on the subject of royalty, manners, dresses and such you're careless!" Haru protested.

"There are more important things to know about then how to be a 'proper princess' "I protested "I mean, who defines what is and isn't proper?" I asked Haru and she sighed.

"Murai, you are truly like your mother" She said with a chuckle " but that mind of yours could get you  in to serious trouble" she scolded me and I nodded.

"No one is alowed to think here" I said with a sigh "that's the only thing they allow us to think" I mumbled to myself.

"Well, I guess that's enough for today...Three hours are more than enough of lessons" Haru said and we nodded.

I let my blue hair cascade from out of the bun that was originally in, and I walked out of the room that we were inside of.

"Murai-chan, are you okay?" Yona asked me and I smiled slightly.

"Yeah. I'm fine" I said forcing a smile "you should get going if you want to see chichi soon" I said and she nodded as she walked away.

I started walking towards the palace gardens, where numerous cherry trees grew and where the flowers bloomed perfectly.

"What's wrong Murai?" I heard a familiar voice ask me.

I turned around and I saw that it was Soo-Won, he had grown a lot since the last time I saw him. Now he was sixteen, and he had greater responsibilities than coming to see us in the castle.

"Soo-Won" I said with a smile as I wrapped my arms around him, and he did the same.

"What are you doing here?" I asked him.

"It's been almost two years since I've been in Hiryuu castle, so I'm going to be living here for some time" He said and I smiled "now, what's wrong with you?" He asked me.

"You're hesitating" Soo-Won said.

"I'm not" I protested.

"Yes you are" He confirmed and I sighed.
