Fallen Love ( FF7 fanfic)

Genesis heard footsteps coming from outside.As they entered the room

he turned to see the young solider .

"Zach the puppy..."His was soft but still had an edge to it . The

younger solider looked so much like his child hood friend Angeal . The

same raven black hair, the same sword his friend had fought with was gripped in his hand .

"You have surpassed Angeal ..and Sephiroth's spirit is in you "

Genesis ran a hand through his red hair . "The three friends are

together again." Words rang in Genesis' ears ' the one who lives will

become a hero' .For a moment he was stunned by his own words . They

had become foreign to him. He wondered 'Am I a hero?' . He blinked

looking at the only other person in the room pulling himself from

dangerous thoughts. Zack had been going on about honor and being a

true hero. He was very irritating when he was like this . So much like

Angeal . Memories flashed of the two men from back in there youth .

When all was still okay.

Zack had said something else that had snapped Genesis from his

thoughts again . His jaw locked and blue eyes flared with rage . This

puppy really was annoying . He really wasn't in the mood to fight him

. After all this was his best friends student . It would be such a

waste to take out someone with such potential but he was getting in

the way .

"By the goddess..." Genesis started, but swords clashing cutting him

off. By this point he had no idea who had mad the first move but the

fight had started. The force of the swords forced them both back .

Zach stumbled waving an arm for balance . Genesis landed steadily. He

looked at Zach then his mind flashed back to training with Angeal and

Sephiroth . He placed a hand on his head . Why was he remembering all

this now?

Zach swung at him again "You think what your doing is honorable?

Well it isn't ! You monster !"

Genesis dodged barely making it . 'Damnit ' he thought ' I must focus

' . Once he stopped he looked at Zack. " We are all monsters ". He

took off after Zack swinging his sword angrily. ' He doesn't know

anything 'he told himself. Then again Genesis's mind went back to the

days before becoming a solider and the early years . He remembered the

first time he had met Sephiroth . The smug look on his face the way he

perfected everything . He remembered how Angeal would joke and tease

him. He would become angry and snap at him claiming just because he

liked men more then women that way didn't mean he like every male he

saw . It was something Angeal had been teasing him for it for years

now . Angeal and Genesis had been friends for the longest time. He knew his teasing meant nothing.Genesis would look at the man and stare in awe.He admired so much about him. He was strong and beautiful . He had long silver hair with vivid blue-green eyes . They had only spoken twice but that's all it took for him to become hooked .
