If I Were to Die

If I were to die would anyone care?

Would my words quickly become important?

Would my friends fall apart in despair?

Would they miss me if I became absent?

My loved ones might finally care for me,

If I were suddenly not there.

They could always carry on with glee.

Or, they might transform if they were aware.

Would I do mightier things beyond the grave?

It might be better if I were gone.

Should I just take my life and be brave?

Or should I stay here in pain and push on?

But somehow my life still seems worth living.

There are still some things in life worth giving.
