The weird friendship between Kate and Sydney

We meet again

Once upon a almost amazing day a 13 year old girl named Sydney woke very quickly at 7:00 and realizing the first day of school was in 1 hour! Sydney ran down the stairs quickly and quietly, so she doesn't wake up her family. She made French toast with sticky syrup with a side of ripe fruit for breakfast. She hears someone coming quickly down the stairs and her mom comes to the dinning room with a very sleepy concerned face. Sydney turned around in her chair and said "what?" Talking with her mouth full. Her mom says "what r u doing here? School starts in 30 minutes!" she said very quickly. Sydney jumps out of her seat and say " I totally forgot I'm in middle school now the times have changed, I'm gonna be late for school!" She quickly makes her lunch gets dressed in her best outfit and starts to walk to school. Sydney is worried she might make a bad impression on a friend or one of the teacher she wants to have the best year ever! Sydney is walking fairly fast, she is very excited to get to school and see who's in her class. She is almost there when she see's a girl walking across the street from her. "Wait a minute! That's Kate!" Sydney and Kate ended on a bad note last year "I hope she isn't going to go to the same school as me" she whispers to her self.  Sydney kept an eye on Kate as she walked. Kate kept on walking the same way as Sydney. Sydney gave up hoping she would not go to the same school. She clearly was and there was nothing she could do about it. When Sydney finally reached school she went to go and check what class she was in. Kate followed after her When she came through the gate Sydney looked right at her and Kate had just noticed that she was going to the school too. She let out a huge breath
