I was excited when Alfie suggested that we go shopping. I had asked him a sort of awkward question and was looking forward for it to be dissolved. I had asked him genuiningly from the bottom of my heart though. I had wanted to know if he ever thought I would like him back.
When I was in secondary school I used to have so mahy crushes on so many different boys and I would always be crushed at the fact that they never liked me back. At least I thought they never did. I was just wondering if Alfie thought he had any hope with me. It was nice to hear that he thought he didn't. It made us even more special to me.
"I just have to go grab my bag," I said running up the stairs to get my coat and my bag before we went shopping. I was so excited to go shopping with Alfie. It was always fun with him. He would try on the woman's clothes and pretend he looked good. We would both pose for awkward selfies and it was always a blast.
Also, with Christmas coming up, it was quite practical for me to go shopping and purchase gifts for the friends in my life. I didn't need to get Alfie any presents though because I had already gotten him all of his ages ago. I just hope he liked them.
After slipping into my shoes and my coat I ran back downstairs to find Alfie waiting for me by the door. "Ready?" he asked holding it open for me.
"As ready as I'll ever be," I said with a giggle walking under his arm and outside. It was nippy outside and I pulled my jacket closer around me for warmth as I walked to the car. I got in the driver's seat and Alfie sat beside me in the passenger seat. I laughed as I started up the car. "I can't believe you still don't have you licsense."
"Driving is hard and scary!" he said sounding hurt.
"Awww you poor little baby," I said patting his leg affecitonately.
"Look at the road! Do you want to kill us?" he shouted and we both broke into laughter.
I think the reason Alfie and I made such a good couple is because we were so different, yet so alike all at the same time.
