THE BOYFRIEND.
OK, so my day began ordinarily enough, my usual routine....except... Today was not any ordinary Wednesday. I didn't have to bring my backpack to school, and all we were doing was going to assemblies all day. It was pretty great. The moment I got to school, I immediately met up with mah friends. Jannelys, Isabelle, Lily, Dustin, Emma, aaannnddd that's it. Anyway, it was pretty cool, the usual 'let's-hang-out-and-do-stupid-shit' being the dumb derps we are. There were two people missing, however, Dominick and Damien. The bell rang, and we went to class, me thinking about Damien and what the hell had happened the day before. We were pretty good friends. He was really close to Lily, and Isabelle had a crush on him. Why was I thinking about him? Well let's just say... The day before we were both going to the front of the school, so we decided to walk together. There was a big crowd we had to fight through, so he grabbed my hand and pulled me after him, you know, like a good friend. After we got through the crowd... For some reason.... We didn't let go. After walking for another minute, he asked why I wasn't letting go. I responded with, "Well, you're not letting go so... Uh.. I dunno..." And proceeded to blush like an idiot. He ended up walking past where he was supposed to go, and walking me ALL the way over where my ride was. Then, he let go of my hand. We both just kinda stared at each other for a while before hugging a little too long, and saying bye. May I tell you something. I had liked him for a WHILE, he liked me too... He's too obvious lol.... Anyway I know what you're thinking, "Well Callie, why didn't you guys get together then and there?" I didn't because my friend Isabelle liked him... I wasn't gonna be a bitch and ruin her chances....(Le sigh.. IMA bad friend) anyway, after that, I left, right? Well back to Wednesday. The bell rang, and I went to class. After I got to class, my first period was all given a copy of a blue schedule. We then all waited for the announcement to come letting us go to all of the assemblies. It came, we left the class, and I was immediately fortunate enough to see Jannelys and Lily up ahead, where I would be able to NOT be a loner and actually have friends. I caught up with them, and we all went to the first assembly where we saved a spot for the entire group and yelled at any one besides the group occupants who dared to sit in those seats. Eventually everyone was there EXCEPT for Damien, who we saw moments later. Let's just say this. He knew/knows Isabelle likes/liked him, but he sat next to me. We then started talking, not bringing up the events of yesterday at all, and ended up coming up with a cruel prank. We were gonna start acting like a couple, just to see how Isabelle reacted. Isabelle then decided to, at that moment, scoot closer towards us. He intertwined his hand with mine, and we scooted closer together, giggling lik that one anime character that can't stop laughing. Isabelle immediately scooted away. Even then though, he didnt let go of my hand. After talking about randomness, the two guys in front of us turned to face towards us. "My friend thinks your girl is hot. " One said. Damien instantly let go of my hand and wrapped his arm around my shoulder. After a minute of bickering, the other one said, "I bet I can make her dump you and come to me by friday." Or something like that. "Oh yeah? We'll she's MINE stay away from her." Damien growled. "PFF, not for long. " This crossed the line. "Really? Disd you seriously just do that? Fight. Me. " Was what Damien said. Then and there, I knew that he wasn't acting, this wasn't just a prank. These were his actual feelings,... And they were my feelings too. Though I was extremely attempted to slap the 'fat ass' ,as Damien called him, for talking about me as if I were some sort of thing, and not another human being, I was in shock and don't move. They set up a date and time actually fight, and then the 'fat ass' and his accomplice turned away. "I'm not gonna let anyone take my girl" Damien mumbled. I, meanwhile, just continued blushing like an idiot. We went to the other assemblies, snuggling and acting like a couple. We didn't know what we were, but we liked it. By lunch, I felt like an asshole, and set off to find Isabelle, Damien following along. Once finding her, I apologized saying , "I'm sorry, its just a prank,"Gave her lots of hugs and stuff, and talked a bit more.... Before walking off with Damien again. Once out of ear shit he turned to me, "I wish it wasn't just a prank though. " And of course, me being the flipping hsbdhhdhdh I am, I responded, "It's not though!" Let's just say, that those three seconds of silence that followed made me feel like shit. 'What is isabelle gonna do?' He then grabbed my hand, and we continued walking around. We didn't really talk about what just happened... Or if we did,... I was too busy screaming at myself internally to remember. We wondered around, and i ended up 'playing myself' as Damien said, by responding with "Yiss?" When one of his friends asked if we were a couple. ("Are you two together" "i dunno" "if you dunno say yes" "i dunno" "say yessss" "i ddunno" "say. Yuss" "I. Dun. No" "SAY YUSSS!!!!" "yiss?")For the rest of the day, we cuddled, and stuff like that. Until the very last assembly. "So," he told me, removing his arm from around me and looking at me. "Yeah?" "I never officially asked you," he began, "I mean, you kind of agreed to it before, but that was because my friend said it,.." At this time, I was confused,... Yet I knew what was going on. "Will you go out with me?" I said yes. Of course I did. He draped me in a hug, mumbled an breathless, "I love you. " into my ear, and didn't let go. At this moment, however.... Isabelle walked by. Her body language basically scteammed anger and hurt, but at that moment, I didn't care. (ImmA bad friend!) I was too wrapped up in the moment. We continued screwing around on my phone for a while, when the assembly ended. I dont remember what really happened after that except his touch, and Lily screaming "I ship it " and hugging me repeatedly. *blushes* euugghhhhh *covers face* OK.. So yeah..... After that, I remember talking o Isabelle who took it extremely hard and led to me nearly having a completely sleepless night. (Fuck you, insomnia, fuck you, mind, thank you melatonin )
