Chapter 8:I Wouldn't Mind Spending Everyday, Out On Your Corner In The Pouring Rain

"Come on Crownz! You can do it!" Vinny yelled.

Nick kept looking around the studio. It made me nervous every time. I move out of my place and we kind of all took a break.

"It's ok. He's fine as long as he doesn-"

"Hey Skillz have you seen Bailey?" Nick asked cutting Jonah off.

My eyes flashed to Jonah a little too fast because my contact had to catch up to my eye.

"Uhh no." I said.

"She didn't tell you? The girls all went out shopping. We told them to have fun today." Ashtynn came over and backed me up.

"Oh... It's just kind of weird that they aren't here." Nick said.

"Well... We did tell them not to come." Carson said.

Nick looked around and then walked away. You're blowing it Bailey! Skillz thought. I rolled my eyes only bugging my contacts. Oh my goodness I hate these. We continued with rehearsal.

"Nick where you going?" Vinny asked.

"I'm gonna call Bailey." Nick said as we all got out of the studio.

I looked at Jonah who had my phone. His eyes got wide as my phone lit up in his pocket. He tried to keep calm.

"Ok well bye." I said.

I grabbed Jonah's arm and we all left.

"Here take it!" Jonah said once we got in his car.

I grabbed my phone and saw I had like ten texts from Nick and a missed call from him.

"Great." I mumbled.

I took off my mask. Nick called again.

"Hello?" I said putting my mask I my bag and pulling off my hood.

"Hey Bailey. Why haven't you been answering?" Nick asked.

"Oh I've just been shopping. I wasn't really on my phone. Sorry Nick." I said.

"Oh that's fine." He said sweetly.

"I thought you were gonna be at rehearsal today." Nick said.

"Uhh, no Skillz wanted me to run a couple errands and then the girls and I came to go shopping." I said.

"Oh.." Nick said.

"Yeah." I said.

"Where are you now?" Nick asked.

"The girls and I are going to get some coffee and then we're gonna go shopping with the Crownz new manager. We haven't met him yet." I said.

"Oh he's nice you'll like him." Nick said.

"I hope so." I said.

"Anyways. Do you mind if the boys and I tag along?" Nick asked.

"Of course you can come Nick." I said.

"Sweet." He said I could feel the smile in his voice.

"Ok well I'll see you there." Nick said.

"Ok bye." I said.

"Bye." Nick said.

I hung up and let out a deep breath.

"That was close." Jonah said.

"No kidding." I mumbled pulling my hair out of its ponytail.

So officially Jonah is our manager. We signed with him last night and we called the moms and they said he sounded just right. It just kind of sucks that we won't be able to go to the dance studio that Jonah owns because well it's in Jersey and we live in Tacoma Washington which is far away in Washington State.
