As Vath finished off Oboro, Arielle and the others had been able to get out of camp safely. Logan and Melodias joined them shortly after. However, Oboro did not come back.
Arielle's POV:
Arielle: I'm telling you! I sensed a gate to hell open!
Terra: Then...
Voltz: And you are 100% sure about this right?
Arielle: Yes. No doubt.
Logan: So... Oboro is...
Arielle: Technically, no. He is residing in hell, and we must go save him.
Melodias: However, we cant save your friend now. Vath is becoming more corrupted by Nightmare. Plus, his thirst for blood has no end. And to make matters worse, he is becoming more powerful as we speak.
Terra: That's right! We must go somewhere to rest. I prefer to have the higher ground. We don't have much more forces left.
Melodias: Agreed.

Rake: Oboro just went down...
Kaiser: Down as in dead? Or down as in-
Rake: Hell. He's in hell. But he can't come back.
BB: Hell! Oh, I've been there. Like three times if I'm not mistaken.
Rake: Then you can get him out!
BB: Oh, not really. I didn't go by myself. I don't have the power to do so.
Rake: Oh...
Kaiser: Guys, we'll be arriving soon.
Rake: I can't wait to beat Vath to a pulp!
BB: Heh. I bet you can't even lay a scratch on him.
Rake: What?!?
Kaiser: He's got a good point.
Rake: You too?
BB: If I was able to destroy your greatest attack yet without any effort, then I think you won't stand a chance.
Rake: I guess that is yet to be seen!
Kaiser: (Balboa you there?)
Balboa: (Kaiser?)
Kaiser: (Remember what I went to talk to you about?)
Balboa: (Oh... is it time?)
Kaiser: (Yeah.)
Balboa: (I'll meet you in 3.)
Kaiser: (Understood.)
BB: So... who were you speaking to Kaiser?
Kaiser: Wha...?
Rake: Speaking to?
Kaiser: Yeah... I need to go somewhere, but my dragon will take you to Terra and the others. I have other things to do.
Rake: Sure. As long as you don't miss the final battle.
Kaiser: Not a chance!
And Kaiser flew away into the clouds.
