*Skylar's POV*

Nina called me back.

"What happened?! Are you okay?! You just stopped suddenly. Do you need me to come there? Is anyone there with you or are you alone? Oh God speak up Sky!!", Nina shouted in a worried tone.

"Calm down Nin, I'm fine..", I said and sighed.

"Then why di-"

"Xavier", I cut her off.

There was a long pause and then she said, "Oh..".

"Why is he so moody? He gets angry so fast.", I said getting a bit irritated.

"Yeah and right now because of that rogue he is kinda worried and stays close to your house most of the time so that you're safe, obviously because you're his mate. He doesn't even trust anyone else to guard you. And that over-protective brother of mine has kept 5 guards here for me, mom and dad.", she sighed.

"Okay. . . by the way, when is that pack meeting thing? Is it okay if I come?", I asked.

"Yeah you can come. I'll pick you up.. we'll go together.", she said.

"Okay. Time?", I asked, getting excited about the pack meeting.

"5:30 pm. I'll be there.", she said.

"Okay. See you later.", with that I ended the call.

I just layed down on the bed and thought about whatever just happened. I totally didn't understand why he was so angry all the time. The way he threw me on the bed like as if I was his toy that he just threw on the bed effortlessly.

*Nikolina's POV*

What's wrong with Xave?, I wondered.

I got ready for the pack meeting. I wore my white jeans and a maroon t-shirt with my white crescent moon bracelet, which every member of the pack had to wear.

I had decided to talk to Xavier about Skylar just before the meeting. His actions were scaring her and she is not a werewolf that he can behave in anyway he likes.

I quickly got into my car but . . . Logan, Riley, Steeve and Nathan stood in front of my car. I rolled my eyes.

I went and sat in the passenger seat of my car and Logan sat in the drivers seat. The rest walked out of the way. I told Logan to pick Skylar up before.

He kept his hand on the back of my hand. I felt so safe with him. We held hands as he drove to Skylar's house. It wasn't dark fully yet. I wanted Logan to mark me, and more than me, he wanted to make me his. I didn't kniw how long we'd have to wait. One or the other day we would have to come up and tell everyone about us. I just hoped everything would be fine, or else we would just have to run away and leave the pack.

As soon as we reached Skylar's house Logan honked once. Skylar came out after a minute recognising that it was me. She smiled as she came closer and sat in the back seat quitely.

"Hey Sky! This is Logan", then she turned to Logan and continued, "Logan, this is Skylar.", I said with a big smile.

"She's coming to the ...?", he asked me softly.

"Yeah Al, and relax she knows everything.", I said and gave a kiss on his cheek as he drove.

He stiffened and I realised what that was for. We had decided that we won't let anyone know about us because of Xavier but Sky knew about us.

"It's okay.. I won't tell anyone...", Skylar said in a soft voice. I smiled and saw Logan smiling. He dragged his hand through his hair and held my hand again as he drove.
