\ I'll be Waiting- By MandoPony
Hey Guys! I want to apologize: School has been CRAZY as well as some personal issues going on lately! I'm trying to figure out what I need to do and how to get there. (Wow that was really deep)I will be taking a break, as I'm very stressed, paranoid, claustrophobic, scared, and above all frustrated with stupid people in my life! Just know that it's really hard to keep writing recently, but you guys are amazing and deserve to have quality content, so without further ado, have fun with my torment~\

It had probably been a few hours at the least, maybe a day, since the Amber Alert for Melody and Levin went out. The students had been excused early from school and everyone was on the lookout for the two students. The news had tried to get an interview with both their parents but were denied completely. They didn't want attention; they wanted their children back.

Zane had barely slept, and when he did, he constantly woke up, over and over- he just could not stay asleep for an hour at a time. It was impossible. He would forget to do his laundry and work numberless hours to track down Jackson. At one point, his truck had vanished without a trace. That was when they were careful about monitoring it. He had to be reminded to eat and drink water when he could.

Aphmau's situation was pretty similar. She had a hard time sleeping at night, she mixed up a customer's order and she looked like a wreck. She didn't bother to brush her hair or do her makeup in the morning. When she got off work, she printed off more posters for Melody and Levin, placing them everywhere and anywhere she could until she was forced to go home and recharge. Katelyn and Kawaii~Chan were very worried.

Levin's parents were in a state of fury, agony, despair, and foul judgement. No one, and repeated, no one was getting sleep. They worked with Zane in finding their children, but to no avail just yet. It was very clear that wherever Jackson was taking them, it was far away. Once, they had a glimpse of Melody and Levin being transported off the truck and into another truck. Melody did not seem to carry injuries, however Levin had a bloody and swollen lip, as well as a broken arm slung in Melody's belt. Zane shed tears as they were tossed into the truck like moving boxes. There was no way to catch up to Jackson. They're only hope was to find where he was going, and get there before he did. Or so Zane thought.

Zane wasn't the only one looking for Jackson. Gene and Travis, Melody's babysitters, were currently trying to get a rent on a helicopter, as well as a team of specialists and weapons. They hadn't told Zane this; They wanted to find Melody themselves and bring her back to him, and Levin to his parents. Somehow, Gene felt partially responsible, after all, when he was a teenager...

Melody sat next to Levin in the new truck. Thankfully, he hadn't been injured more, but they were starving and parched. Melody was used to the feeling, but Levin was not. He had been eating a healthy amount all his life. Melody taught him tricks to stave off his hunger, so it wouldn't bother him. They spent some time talking to each other and playing games to pass the time. They hadn't the clue where they were going, until they over heard two people talking.

"Boss says we're takin' them to the far end of Tu'la. The Cats will do the rest of the work."

They laughed. Melody gulped in fear. How would Zane find them there? Just as she began to grow pale, Levin hugged her to comfort her. We're gonna be okay, we're gonna be okay. We have to be...

Levin did all he could to comfort Melody. He knew how terrified she was of Jackson, and rightfully so. He had put her through torment no one should experience ever. Despite his constant stomach growling and broken arm, Levin was just fine. He chose not to be scared so Melody didn't have to work so hard. She had been through enough.

" T-there's a place..." Melody began to sing. Levin looked down at her.
"I belong,
Where I'm never wrong
But I think that it's a long way from here.
In my heart, I know I'll find,
A way to leave my troubles behind
I'll be special, someday,
If I can find a way,
To be needed by my friends,
Maybe they'll need me,
Someday.
