Couple's Vacation

Jon's POV
I'm so freaking bored! I don't have anything to do. I don't have things to do because it's our semestral break so it's my free time but I'm really bored. Oh! I have an idea!

"Love, how are you?", I asked my girlfriend, Jelai. "I'm alright, how about you love?", she asked back. "I'm fine but I'm so freaking bored!", I said. "Do you want something to do?", she said. "Uhm. Love, I think, I want to have s-", I didn't finish what I'm trying to say. "WHAT!? YOU WANT TO HAVE SEX! NO WAY! EVEN THOUGH I LOVE YOU SO MUCH, I CAN'T GIVE MY VIRGINITY TO YOU NOW! NOT NOW", she exclaimed. "Hahaahaha... You always overreact! I just wanted to say that I want to have some time with you. You know, spend time together", I said. "Oh, I'm sorry. How about we have a vacation. Like hit the road, we can borrow my mom's car", she said excitedly. "Great idea love, but where we will have our vacation?", I asked. "How about we go to some kind of out of town beaches. Oh! The beach that we can watch the sunset!", she screamed. "Love, your really smart. The next day we will go to a beach. Later, I will search for a beach that we can stay at. We can sleep overnight there", I said. "Okay love, just update me okay? I gotta go now. Bye. I love you", she said and hung up.

I am searching for a beach where we could go to. Then, I found the Ava Beach Resort. It's good for my budget. Yes, my budget because I want to treat her because the next day, it's our 5th anniversary. Maybe, she doesn't remember it now. I just texted her the place and the name of the beach. I eat dinner and fall asleep

It's all white. It's so clean. Then I see my dead father in front of me. "What the heck are you doing here dad?", I asked him. "I just visit your dreams to tell you that take care of yourself okay? Love Jelai as much and as long as you can okay?", he said, looking me eye to eye. "I'm taking good care of myself dad, I'm fine. And I love her so freaking much and I will love her as much as I can and as long? as I can", I'm confused about "as long as I can". "Dad, what abo-", when I turned at him, he's already gone. What the freaking heck this dream is!

"Hey wake up, love. Love, wake up", I wake up because of the sound of my love waking me up. "Good morning love, what are you doing here?", I asked her and I sat up and kissed her. "I just want to go shopping with you so I can buy some clothes for our vacation", she said. "Love, we'll stay there in one night and two days only, not a year", I said with a chuckle then she hit my shoulder. "Just come with me! No excuses! Go get a bath now! You smell like, ew", she exclaimed and pushed me to the bathroom.

"Morning mom", I said and kissed her cheek when I went to the kitchen to eat some breakfast. "GOOD morning", she emphasized the word 'good'. "There's no good in the morning because of h-", I am about to point Jelai but when I look at her, she is raising a middle finger. "There is no good in the morning because of h... hot weather. Yes because its very hot in here, so hot", I said, it made my mom and love chuckle then we eat breakfast and go to the mall.

"What suits me? This red one or this blue one?", she asked, oh no, here we go again. "The blue dress", I said and pointed the blue dress, the dress was really beautiful it had designs that I don't understand but it looks perfect and it really really suits her than the red one. "Nah, I will take this red", she said and went to the dressing room. That is one of the things I didn't like about her, she will ask you which one is better but she will decide her own, she really doesn't need my opinion but I really damn love her.

"Love, look, does it suits me?", she asked. After a hundred years, she was already done. "Yup", I said without lifting my head from my phone. "You're not even looking at me!", she exclaimed. No choice. When I looked up. What the heck! The dress is so tight at her! She was revealing too much skin! Even her cleavage was already revealed. "No! You are showing much skin. There are so many maniacs in this world! Don't you dare wear that? Go change already! Find something new, not this one. Understand!?", I said and pushed her inside the fitting room. I don't care if she hates me if I don't let her wear that dress, I just wanted to protect her.

She was done shopping and she also bought some clothes for me. Now we were here at a fast food chain where the foods are Japanese foods. She ordered lots of foods she said we will share at the food so I have nothing to worry about.

The first food that was served was a crab, I think. "Love, I'll just go to the restroom", I said and went to the restroom.

When I returned. She was almost done eating the whole crab! I just want to look at her and I snap a picture. She was really eating like there was no tomorrow.

We were done eating, I just ate some sushi then she ate all of her order. "Let's go home, love. We will have a long day tomorrow", she said so we go to the parking lot.

We are here at the front of her house. "Bye love", we said and kissed each other. Then we both go to our own places.

Jelai's POV

I am excited about our vacation, now he was waiting for me in our living room and I am here in my bedroom getting ready. I put on liquid eyeliner and pencil eyeliner under my eye and mascara, I'm so girly right? After more than thirty minutes of doing my make-up, someone knocked on my door. "Love, faster, if you want us to catch up the sunset later. It's a long ride by the way", he said. "Wait! Give me a minute", I said and double checked the things I will bring.

"Bye, mom!", we both shouted and headed to my mom's car."Take care both of you!", she exclaimed.

We went to the garage, put our thing in the backseat of my mom's car. Love was in the driving seat then I'm in the passenger's seat. Then, love stepped on the gas.

"Love, are you sleepy? You can sleep, you should, so you'll have enough energy for the sunset later okay? Sleep, now", he said and patted my head. I lower the back of the chair so I can sleep comfortably. I took one more look at my love before I closed my eyes.

Until now, I can't even realize that everything happened so fast. From the time I look at Jon, I have no idea it will be the last time. I have no idea that when I closed my eyes, it will open inside the hospital. I have no idea that you're not here with me now. "Love, it's been a year since you left me. I hope you're happy wherever you are that I am here watching the sunset but without you", I said to the air as the sun sets.
