This new beginning is when I started secondary school. I woke up the morning I was starting and I had butterflies in my tummy since I was really nervous. I got up and did my usual morning routine. After, I got dressed into my purple jumper, Isle of Skye pleated skirt and black tights with my all black new shoes.
No one was up seen as it was really early. About an hour later, my nan got up and asked 'Are you excited to start today?'. 'I'm really nervous and excited at the same time!' I replied with a huge smile on my face. I knew that I would know no one when I got to school. My nan HAD to get pictures of my first day of course. It's something I always have to do before I start. We left half an hour after the pictures were taken. We drove to a local shop so I could get a drink and a snack for school. I got to the school at 08:30 so I knew I would be early. It's not a good idea to be late on the first day. When I walked though the doors, the principal and vice-principal greeted me. I was the first one there. Others came about five/ten minutes after I got there. Once everyone got to the school, we had assembly so we would know what class we were in. We went a class room where we would get to know each other and meet out tutor. We got to know one another. I kinda made a friend out of it.
At break, I sat by myself because I didn't know anyone. I was sad and lonely. People saw me and saw that I'm not pretty or beautiful so they just walked away. We went back to class and wrote in a book we had to do. We had to colour in some stuff and I was the only one at my table with colours so I shared. I kinda made friends with some of the others at my table. We went home and I was so tired. Altogether, I was in school for five hours.
