A few years back when waking up I would get sleep paralysis pretty often and it scared me the first time cuz I felt like I couldn't breath when I was around 13 it started slowing down where I didn't get it as much. I have mastered sleep paralysis I guess where I can breath good during it and tend to wake up pretty fast by trying to move one of my body parts. Now I'm 14 and I've hard no nightmares for awhile! I'm thinking I wake up out of them but then go into sleep paralysis hearing the background noises of my noghtmare but not seeing it. It feels different than waking up out of a dream with it though, much different. When I wake up with it my eyes are wide awake but I can't move or do anything like normal, and it's completely silent till I wake up. Now when I'm falling asleep into it I feel like I can barely keep my eyes open, making it hard to not fall into my nightmare, and I hear noghtmare noises making me afraid to close my eyes to go to sleep. When I do wake up out of it it usually repeats. Last night as I was sleeping I had a faint dream of a boomerang, I was in a faint field when this black boomerang came loser and closer to me, eventually my dream went white and I heard a cartoon wack kind of sound. I woke up but when I did I flinched, like the feeling you have when you think you fell off the bed. I didn't worry too much about it so I went back to sleep. I went into sleep paralysis and starting hearing all those noises. It repeated three times then I decided to turn my tv louder. One time in sleep paralysis I felt like a force was moving me off my bed twice but when i woke up I was still on my bed. It makes me afraid to go back to sleep sometimes, and when this does happen I try to think of happy stuff and try to Lucid dream but when I did that last night my lucid dream was so faint that I woke up like instantly, it just went back to sleep paralysis. What is wrong with me? Cause I know it's not normal.
