It's my first day of school at Newshore high, but it doesnt start off awesome...
Wow! 1st period isn't even halfway over and
it's been 20 minutes!! What a bummer!!!
35 minutes of boring math later...
"Ugh!! Finally!! Thank god I'm out of math now!! So, where next?... Art!! At least i have something good now."
I was in art drawing a broken brick wall, as i suddenly started looking around, my eyes caught this boy, he was amazingly adorable!! With his brown hair and green eyes, man, i wish i had him!!
"Okay class! Time to get things ready, bell's going to ring any minute now!"
I couldn't help but walk up to him and say hi. I know right, stupid idea!!!
"H-hi! I'm Rosella!!"
"Hey!! I'm Sam, so, 30 seconds left of class, whats your next class maybe we can talk more?"
"I have English, you?"
"Same here!! Well I guess we'll talk then, also pretty name!"
"Yeah. Thanks!"
Well, he seems nice!! I go through all my classes, and it's almost the end of the day, last period with my new crush, Sam.
"Rosella! Wait up!!"
Sam's suddenly running across the room mintues before we leave.
"Hey, so, how was the first day of school? It's almost over!! So sad."
"My day was great thanks for asking Sam, how was yours?"
"It was magnificent especially since I met this pretty girl!!"
"Really? Wow! What's her name?"
"Her name is Rosella, she's beautiful and smart, she has brown hair and blue eyes, I'd probably be the happiest man if i had that girl!"
"U-uh Sam???"
I was blushing badly, I dont know if he did that on purpose or not, but, his voice is just so smooth he could make me fall asleep...
"Wait, what? Rosella? Did i tell you about a girl that made my da-"
"Yes Sam, you did, you said it was me..."
"O...m...g... Rosella I hope we didn't ruin anything between us!"
"No, Sam... that made us closer..."
"Really?????? Okayyyy? So... what are you doing tonight?"
"Me? What am i doing t-tonight? Oh... nothing... why?"
"I was wondering, would you like to go on a date with me? Somewhere you've never been?"
Me? On a date with Sam? My own crush? ON THE VERY FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL??? Wow, why not?
"S-sure!!"
"Okay be ready by 5:00 pm I'll pick you up okay? What's your address?"
"Okay um 1245 Main Street."
"Yay can't wait to see you there!!"
All of a sudden i feel arms tight around me... h-he just gave me... a hug??? I was so shocked i hugged him back. Then I let go and waved, he waved also.
So I was sitting there, in my mom's car on the way home, could it really be? Sam is going to pick me up at 5:00 to go on a date?
My mom interrupts my train of thoughts...
"Honey, we haven't talked at all, how was school?"
"It was great thanks for asking."
"Anything good come up?"
"Yea."
Should I tell her about Sam? Or should I keep it to myself?
"Well, what happened that was so good?"
"I met this boy Sam, he's cute, his personality is awesome, and let's say that hes supposed to pick me up at 5:00 to go on a date..."
"What?!? Really?? You got a date on the first day of school?!? You go babygirl!!"
"Yeah thanks mom."
20 minutes later...
Here I am, in a short, light purple dress, standing in front of my huge mirror. I have some makeup on, but not too much. My hairs up in a messy bun, and i think i look great!!
"Mom!!!!"
Then there's my mom running up the stairs, and almost fell.
"W-what honey??"
My mom's standing there, bent over, huffing and puffing.
"Uh, mom? Are you okay? and do I look okay?"
"Yes I'm fine!"
She looks up at me...
"Darling!! You look gorgeous!!"
I couldn't help but laugh!!
"Thanks mom!! I dont know what I'd do without you!"
Just as we were smiling and laughing, a horn honked, which I new it had to be him!!
I rushed downstairs to get my things and go, and my mom was there smiling and staring at me.
"M-mom? What are you doing??"
"Nothing! I'm just so glad to see you go!!"
I laugh.
"Well, I have to go now, I love you!! I'll be back later!!"
"Yes yes, now go!"
We sit in the car for now about 5 minues ever since we left my place, and we haven't said a word. Might as well say something...
"So, any idea where we are going??"
"I've gotten the perfect place!"
"Great!! Where?"
"Why not Denny's Dinner? You know, that fancy restaurant right across from the hotel?"
"Sounds great!!!"
So we're both finsished eating, I stare out the window, but I can tell he's staring at me... he suddenly starts asking questions...
"What's your favorite food?"
"Pizza."
"What's your favorite drink?"
"Dr. Pepper."
"What's your favorite color?"
"Purple."
Awkward silence...
"Will you go out with me??"
I turn my head to look at him as he smiles, my mouth hesitates to open...
"Y-y-yes!!!!"
Later that night as he drove me home, I opened the door to get out, but he grabbed my arm and pulled me close to where his lips smashed against mine...
"I love you baby."
"I love you too."
