There are days when I look out the window staring blankly into space
Spontaneous memories flash before my eyes
In a blink, I remember a thousand things
A thousand times I wasted time wishing time would rewind
All the potential I saw in the people I've met only to be wasted
Lives spent chasing money while seeing visions on the tv screen
Only color codedOnce thought, second noted
Seconds pass before you realize your eyes blinked
Hours go by before you realize you sat down with a productive mindset just to think
Days before you comprehend what visions flashed your mind preparing you for the future
But you ignored them because you rather be blind
Fit in with the crowd so you do the things you think are in style
Weeks later you fall into a downward spiral
Depression at its worst
Hours of confession
Nothing changes
You look out that same window asking for another chance
Another chance to waste time but in a different fashion
This time you'd waste time pursuing dreams that fill your heart with passion
The type of passion so deep that you can't sleep knowing your potential is way up there and you want to spend nights coming up with ideas to revolutionize the world
But still you sit there looking out the window
Amazed at what you could be
But you're one moment from fading away to being a memory of what the eyes once could see
